Daley... that's typical. The gay bastard is wearing his sunglasses on his head even though it was pissing down.
I keep expecting DDM to pop up and start a row with Tawny. It's that fucking surreal.

I ignored this thread as I assumed that it was some stick taking about his latest book.
Never met the bloke, but he made me proud when I picked up the top ten list book in Waterstones and found 'brispie' in the acknowledgements. For that I will be forever grateful to him.
RIP Wingo.

Shit. Not been on here for a week or so. Condolances to all those who knew him in real life. He certainly seemed a top bloke and sent me a couple of complimently books a bit back with a nice note.

Mr Eltringham, any further news on what happened. Has there been a funeral, did it all go off well?
Still shit isn't it?

Talking about it anyway: If there has been a funeral, I bloody well hope there was a wreath with Awag's not as good as it used to be on it.

I haven't been on here for a while and wasn't prepared for this.
Wingo was a top bloke. Enjoyed spending time with him on the occasions he lowered himself to accepting pub league hospitality. Too young to die.

I ignored this thread because I thought is was meant for authorcunt. I now feel a bit of a twat and very very gobsmacked
Bye bye Mr Dog Raising Person, arbiter of useful lists and al round AWAG good guy. Your tinterweb ramblings will be missed
An EJ Thribb eulogy would be appropriate right now, but I can't think of anything clever enough right now
Authorcunt. Crazeeee name, crazy guy (with thanks to Glenda Slagg)

I have just spent some time on Oatcake reading the tributes to Winger.
Looks like those of you who knew him personally were blessed to do so. I can't remember the last time I saw someone described in such glowing terms, which makes his death even sadder.
If Murdoch hadn't been such a twat, I'd be trawling TwoView looking for the lists thread.... That and the infamous yoghurt picture

A moving service arranged by Mark and Mick up Mow Cop on Saturday afternoon. Some tears but plenty of great stories shared.
Not sure what the elderly bunch of ramblers coming down from the castle made of Old Stokie in his cream gangster hat singing "I put my dick in her hand" though.

That 'gangster hat' was the only thing I was wearing that didn't come from Help the Aged or Cancer Research. Greyers gave it to me, and I never go anywhere of importance without it. It's weird. It sort of has his brain in it and I can think like him when I'm wearing it. You wouldn't believe the places I go to now. Where's Meatotomy?
