I'm not sure "exciting" is the word I'd use personally...

The last 20 mins of PLW v Unhappy Hammers is one of the best bits of a football match I have seen this season.
Robbie Keane looking glum is always good copy.
Charles Nzobia making Wayne Bridge look stupid before hammering in the winner through Rob Green is why England will never win a World Cup.

Rob Green is as much of a getting-relegated-from-the Prem expert as Avram; Norwich should buy him back.

Having agonised over the permutations and realised that we can win and go down, and lose yet stay up, I've decided not to worry about it and just enjoy the day and be proud of my team.
Why not?

I went yesterday and ended up cheering them on-even though I'd have been happy with the draw(for Tangerine Evils sake) Full-ish stadium and some Cockernees looking rather glum made for a good day-pity about the rain though

Isn't it weird that whilst Blackpool are a club with a proud history who've achieved a huge amount on a tight budget and largely play football the "right" way (at the moment) and Wigan are a tinpot club with a bit of cash thrown at them, I find myself favouring inoffensive Wigan over the mouthy Tangerine gobshites. And Stoke over both of them.

Blackpoo's position is unremarkably similar to our position on the final day two years ago. Even down to playing a 'weak' United. I hope they/you stay up. They/you might well deserve it.
If you stay up you'll be down next year though. Sure as eggs is eggs.

I like Stoke in the prem, but when we get to play them again I'll hate them.
I only dislike Wigan, because I still remember the day in January 1992 when we played them in the 3rd round of the cup and it was a right old laugh because tiny little Wigan were given us a decent game. We won 2-0 of course and patronised them to the hilt.

We've a pre season game with Rangers. Like Blackpool needs an invasion of 6,000 Scots...oh.

I genuinely hope that Blackpool stay up either at the expense of Birmingham, a real bunch of twats, or Blackburn because they deserve it, or at least their owners do. I am glad West Ham got relegated because they deserve it too and will deserve it even more if they're still down when they move into the Olympic Stadium.

I'm quite looking forward to the game on Sunday, come what may. I won't be at Stoke though due to the admin being stoopid and only getting a few tickets!!! Unless of course my Stokie pals can sneak a couple of us in their end : : I don't think I was this nervous or excited when we played Sheff Utd to stay up a few years ago, the year Man U put a weakened side out against West Ham as they no doubt will do on Sunday. Mind you that side could prob sort out most Prem sides at the moment!
