We're a better side than Watford. If it's a contest between them and us for 2nd I'm confident we can beat them.
I'd be more concerned about one of the other good sides finding some consistency. If Ipswich could sort out their away form they'd be right up at the top.

We've started chasing half of Scotland with "derisory" offers instead. we seem to want to look at only Scottish or French players at the moment

I think anyone and everything remotely connected with BFC would go into meltdown if we got anywhere near the play offs.

I noticed. There was a rumour going round about Luke Rodgers before Christmas, but I don't think anythings ever come of it. We've started chasing half of Scotland with "derisory" offers instead. If you're offering candy floss to replace deep fried mars bars you'll never sign them. Our Argentine wonder who was going to sign hasn't because he failed his medical. Anyone got a left winger of Premiership class going spare? We have - but Wigan want him

Everybody wants your players. And they're getting them too. I had noticed this. At his rate we won't be able to field a team at all next week When Sturrock arrived "No player will leave this club during January except for silly money, and none at all to Liecester" So far we have sold Buzsaky (QPR) Gosling (Everton) Dickson (Brentford) Ebanks-Blake (Wolves) and Hayles (Liecester - funny that) plus Martin has refused a further loan to join the Blades instead on loan. Looks like Sturrock is building a side to win the League One Championship in 2009/10

Yes. I think it's safe to say that West Brom are the only side even close to being Premiership quality in our league, and even they only have a couple of truly class players - stick Phillips and Gera in anybody else's team and they'd be up the top.
Ipswich are also a good side but their awful away form is holding them back. I'm somewhat concerned about our trip to Palace next weekend too as they seem to be on quite a run.
Everyone else in the league is much of a muchness and our consistency and sturdy defence is counting for a lot. I don't think we'll have a better chance of making the Premiership than we do this season so the next few months are pretty vital to the future of the club.

West Brom - easily the best team in the division - will win it Palace - have forward momentum and I expect them to finish second. If they finish in the Play Off I expect them to win that as Colin has a record second to none in the play offs for loads of teams If Palace don't make second, I expect it to be Stoke

Ipswich's bad away form will probably be banished by this time next week. They're at Bloomfield Road on Saturday and I have an awful awful feeling about it

I fancy West Brom to finish first, City second and Palace to beat Watford in the playoff final.
Either that or we slip away to finish 7th and have to endure months of Plymouth fans going *POP* on our messageboards.

I was with my gashead mate on Saturday. He's really confused as he WANTS you to get promoted, just so he can watch you get embarrassed regularly on MotD.

I'll take that, along with the £60m to help fund our shiny new stadium, our Premiership standard academy and a bit of investment in players to build a better team.
Still I'm sure he'll enjoy watching Steve Phillips and Danny Coles have a shouting contest with one another as they attempt to explain how Macclesfield Town's 4th goal went in.

Apparently your new ground may be partially on green belt. However, knowing how City can do no wrong in the councils eyes, they'll probably get away with it.

It looks totally green to me - it's the land behind the David Lloyd leisure centre.
It'd be nice to see the council support any kind of progressive development in the City. The Evil Post is already stirring up the NIMBYs so the council will need to be supportive.

We've forgotten what a league game feels like. Do you know the FA Trophy takes priority over the tinpot leagues when your in the tinpot leagues. If Histon keep calling off this poxy trophy game we may never see another league game. Can we come back please?

It'll kick up a huge fuss Dan, so I wouldn't hold your breath. I'd be surprised if the council didn't give it the go ahead though.

You're in the lead at the moment bris, we've slipped behind Bournemouth (or ahead of them, depending on how you look at it).

We were the last team to play Luton before they had to sell everyone. We lost.
