if we signed him on loan and didnt sign vaughan i wouldnt be too pleased. would be happy with either of them on permanent but would probably prefer vaughan now we have paterson as partnership wise im not sure how alf+paterson would work.
vaughan and alf would be unreal, but i cant really see us bringing in more than 1 more striker.

Paterson and Le Fondre are very similar players to each other, Paterson's already signed up, so I just can't see this ALF rumour being true.................on balance, I think I'd prefer Morrison on a season long loan from Reading instead, but that probably won't happen.
On the other hand, Vaughan would be a different kind of striker to either Paterson or Stead, so that would be a very good balance to have for the squad.

Anyone saying he is better than Vaughan is a bit daft, you just can't compare them One is an awesome link player and focal point of an attack The other is pretty useless in general play but an outstanding finisher Correct. ALF is very similar to Beckford..

I see le fondes as much more of a poacher, and paterson as a hard worker...

T24 used to have pretty good inside knowledge - prob an x-player, not that reliable tho these days.

Would prefer Vaughan. We're an average Championship outfit who can't afford to have a luxury up front who will remain anonymous for the majority of the game. Yes, sometimes he will take his half chance but other times we will get annihilated by teams who are basically playing against 10 men. Handy option to have from the bench but there is noway that he/we would agree to that.
