What I was referring to is he always seems to score free kicks or penalties whenever I see his goals. Doesn't matter anyhow, he won't be playing Saturday because Gus will have his chequebook out tomorrow Can't see this at all. Sunderland have just signed an Argentinian striker. McCormack to score on Saturday - against us.

I predict a big response to the news from leeds fans on Saturday..
the hitler youth song of "marching on together" will be loud and proud..
hope somebody reminds the town team that the fans have never ever scored a goal for anyone...
hope someone reminds them that a couple of goals would certainly "alter" the "intimidating" atmosphere..

Gus wanted Ross at Brighton, but obviously no better off than being at Leeds. Wouldn't at all be a bad move

I had a dream last night that we went 2-0 up, with Wells scoring the second....
I think it'll finish 2-2, Clayton and Wells to bag. There's always goals when we play Leeds. Reckon we'll hit our straps on Saturday and play some cracking stuff in patches but will struggle when they put the pressure on with long diagonals and set pieces.

Spend your £36 equally split backing a Leeds win or a draw, and there's a high likely hood you'll go to bed on Saturday night at least a fiver better off.

Experienced referee Graham Sailsbury takes charge of this Saturday’s League ‘derby’ at Elland Road for this second match of the season officiating Huddersfield and his first Leeds

If we create as many chances as we have been doing recently (generally between 10-20) I can certainly see us getting a couple of goals and getting a point at least, but certainly have a decent chance of all 3. Think it'll finish 2-2 or 2-1 to town

Scum 1-3 Town, early goal from us would get their crowd on their back, from there on the party begins!

It seemed to go too well and I can't see us keeping a clean sheet so I'm hedging my bets.

2 Leeds McCormack x2 2 Town Wells Norwood Att; 34,238 - 2,600 from H'field. 1-1 26,200- 1700 from H'field. Which is exellent considering it's a good 15 miles away.

as for the result I hope we give em a right good hammering, but i fear it'll be danny ward again.... hell i'd play steady up front first.
It's leeds's cup final so the crowd will be interesting.

I predict I'm going to blow my top having just discovered from a Leeds mate that row AA is not 27 rows back, but is in fact the FRONT row.
He also says that if we're quite far along, we'll see bugger all because the front row is lower than the bench, and their benches are massively high.
Still...not as far to go when I streak naked onto the pitch when our 6th goal goes in...this IS going to happen.

yids 3 town 1 if we persist with ward up front if we have pato and wells 1-1 So the benefit of playing Pato and Wells is that we concede 2 fewer goals and end up with a point!

The moment that Hammill left the field against Charlton the belief and confidence seems to ave evaporated amongst the players and some fans. People on here starting threads about relegation because of 2 abject performances due to injuries to key players not being available and some dubious managerial decisions. With the same key players out i dont expect things to change on the field until they return but Leeds ave their own troubles and should be for the taking but think its got draw written all over it

Here's one from a YEP pundit
STEPHEN CLARK
I’m struggling to remember a more depressing time at Elland Road. Even administration and relegations are nothing in comparison to the air of uncertainty which surrounds the club at the moment.
The last thing that we need is the visit of a club who see beating Leeds United as the be all and end all of their existence. Huddersfield Town have become an irritation whose fans take more pleasure in hating us than they do in backing their own side. I have no idea what side Brian McDermott will select. He looks a broken man, worn down by the boardroom goings-on and a playing staff who seem to only play when they feel like it.
Prediction: Leeds United 0 Huddersfield 2.
