They better do otherwise it could turn unsavoury at the JSS That's a great idea! Let's get on the players' backs the minute they put a foot wrong, that'll ensure they do better for the rest of the game. We could boo them off at half-time as well, to really get them energised for the 2nd half.

So we are in a relegation scrap..... Pity it has taken him the last six to eight weeks to realise, and now he states the obvious!! Not sure what makes you say that, when this is what he actually said; 'We are in a relegation battle and we have known that for a while' Yet again, his article is honest & open, but yet again, people (I don't mean you mate, I'm just generalising), take individual phrases in isolation & put their own spin on it to make out like he's said something completely different.

But come on if you go to games the fans around you must have voiced their opinions about Robins, the poor play, players etc when things aren't going our way. Or are you in your own bubble? I'd like nowt more than Town to win tmrw but if we play like we did vs Ipswich the fans have every right to vent their frustrations.

its aimed at anyone who oddly believes that footballers are not doing "a job of work".
I don't boo or jeer them anyway, whatever happens, it makes absolutely no difference so is a waste of time and breath.
They should expect to get as much stick verbally and written as anyone else doing a paid job of work as badly as they are at the moment. I don't expect that many went down to the city and cheered and clapped the bankers as they went about their jobs a while ago?? Cant see you or me or anyone else applauding highway workers after they fucked about on the m62 for years to then go months over and still not get the fucking tarmac back flat in millions of places so are back again night after night?.. Its just a job its not a vocation and its certainly never, ever for free.
As ever, they either will put in a performance worth its name or they wont, cheering or booing wont make much if any difference at all.
Sad thing is a good or even super performance tomorrow probably wont affect the one at Yeovil one bit, that's where we are at the moment, love it or loathe it, its the truth.

To be fair I think most teams would struggle against Derby away if you gift them a two goal head start (Smithies and PC penalty) and then played with 9 men We scored first though HT. And from the guff out of MR's mouth 'should have had a penalty. Nahki should have got a 2nd goal.' What? How the hell is that guff? He is just stating the facts, we were denied a absolute stonewall penalty, Nakhi should have got a 2nd but for an excellent block from their defender. Until Deadman decided he didn't want us getting any points from the game, we were totally in the game, and looked good for at least a point.

46 games.. the ref wasn't to blame. its about 46 games not the last 10/12 and definitely not the last 3/4..
id still say the above if we had been around the play offs and the last 10 go wrong and you don't make it, over the 46 games that's a good season and its optimistic.
grasping 4 points from the last 4 to escape a relegation battle isn't progress its just 4 or so games out of a poor return from 46.
you can be robbed in a one off cup tie, claiming that one game out of 46 has made all the difference wont wash.

I like Adam Clayton's take on things - "we are capable of winning two, three or all four. It won’t work like that"So, in other words, "we're capable of winning 2, 3 or 4. But we won't." Clayton: We're Capable. Sort of.My thoughts when I read it, too. Robins' stuff is just pre-match guff. Same from every manager... pointless and not worth a listen. The game does the talking and tells you all you need to know.

The game does the talking and tells you all you need to know. 100% Reece, but Robins doesn't get to say "I've been saying the same stuff for weeks but the next day we always play shit, so I'm just not going to talk to the media anymore" - the only "wrong" here is that (as usual) people have used it as an opportunity for a moan. This thread is pointless. What he said to Radio Leeds doesn't matter. If they turn up and put a proper shift in, the majority of the crowd will back them come what may. If they turn up with no bottle and no effort, then the crowd won't. Even on this winless run, we've had games where they've done reasonably well. It's the Ipswich type performances and the Blackburn type mistakes that are unforgivable.

I suppose he is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. When we are mathematically safe I fully expect him to say it as it is.
Fuck this nicey niceness, let the fans know how much he has been let down. All those players out the door should be under no illusions as to why they haven't been offered no contracts.
The fans would have massive respect for that and those who remain and are brought in no exactly what is expected.

To be honest Rocky i just read the " we are in a relegation battle" so fair enough. It's my 55 years of watching Town mostly struggle that is getting to me, and yes i know i should be used to it by now but it peeves me off all the same.
