violence at football should result in the all willing and complicit persons kicking the living shite out of each other at a designated location, well away from the ground/train stations etc and from proper people. ambulances should not be despatched and a 'crack on, see how you go' mentality should be adopted by all authorities.
a large number of balding/fat middle aged men and a number of young 'rat faced boys' is no real loss to society but are draining an inordinate amount of resources to stop their banal/mindless activities...
superlopez appears to have been badly affected by the weather.

Still here for now. Not commenting on this topic anymore. My feelings that violence at football should not be tolerated are pretty clear and my thoughts about anyone who thinks it is are also pretty clear. Thanks for apologising on the NSL board. However I genuinely think you need to seek professional help sent by my TVC15 0 0

Super lopez calls people wankers c**** and fat c**** says anyone who think ONE of the lads has been treated harshly when he wouldn't get the same punishment in any other situation bar football then claims the nsl are attracting hooligans. ....when in reality hooliganism died out about ten yrs ago....claims the moral high ground. Stick to bullshit transfer rumours you are out of your depth.

problem is, if you associate with arses then you will eventually fall into the hole and become an arsehole. Im afraid some of the jokers I see who follow town just make me laugh but some are clearly brain dead and some are easily led. Never mind the 'party' atmosphere led by the NSL should start to put the fun back.

That's football in general. .no club are free of dickheads though its on a tiny scale and violence is seldom seen anymore....though if either town or Barnsley had gone down last season........

Truly bizarre thread. Has anyone commenting on this case actually known what went on and what was said in court? So many people reading the words of a defence counsel (whose job, remember, is to put the best possible spin on his client's case and ignore /play down any incriminating facts) and instantly taking them as gospel.
'Backing away from the incident' reads to me (given he clearly played a key role in this aggro by pulling someone to the ground) like the usual dancing around 2 steps forward, 2 steps back while spluttering "want some, eh?" etc etc. Cos that's what these knobheads do mostly. Yet the moral majority on the thread seem to be accepting the defence counsel's claim as the final word.
As to the double standards, I suspect the time & place is an aggravating factor - if you're out and about at kicking out time it's not so unusual to see a fight. But at teatime in front of the railway station? Someone complained about the double standards and promptly suggested a college lad was somehow different to anyone else!
I'm sure I'll find myself in the doghouse with superlopez on this but hey never mind. 2 more hooligans locked up for a while at least.

I'm sure I'll find myself in the doghouse with superlopez on this but hey never mind. 2 more hooligans locked up for a while at least. I watched the whole thing. If the young lad deserves 10 weeks in jail then everyone else there deserved 10 weeks in jail also. It was a seriously mild bit of fisticuffs that lasted a minute or so. When the Police arrived on the scene they didn't run in all guns blazing they sort of just made sure it was finished then put a couple of hands on shoulders to detain a few. And you're not with Superlopez because there's nothing wrong with having a different opinion to anybody else or disagreeing on here. But you didn't come on calling us all c*nts who are hooligan groomers or some of the other truly bizarre nonsense that got posted by a poor misguided individual last night. You just stated your view and left it at that. Nothing wrong with that.

This is seriously funny . I'm now a hooligan sympathiser... And have three accomplices who have also not said one thing in "favour" of said social problem... And now we have a character called " fat c*** Graeme"... (who doesn't carry an ounce of fat if you were looking a bit closer when you walk through Hopton and Mirfield you might have seen that) .. I think when he refers to 'fat c#nt Graeme', he must be meaning Grimois. Extraordinarily misguided, as Big G is one of the nicest blokes you'll ever meet but I think everyone knows Superlopez has gone a bit postal on this thread. Shame really, as I must be in the minority who thinks his transfer news fantasies are quite amusing.

Escpially leaving Casa Del Lopez after a cracking breakfast.... Do we know each other?

grimois;;
I think you need counselling as you are clearly not in touch with yourself..well not your inner beauty anyway. being in touch with yourself is ok but probably not in public...

I'd love to follow your adivce but I'm on a final warning with HR over this very issue...apparently is not appropriate in team meetings....

usually in team meetings there are far too many w-nkers pointing at whiteboards and powerpoint shite for anyone to notice anyone keeping in touch with themselves at the back.
I stopped having them ages ago when I realised I wasn't listening to myself never mind anyone else being overly interested.

This thread, along with the 'Adam Hammill' thread, is very illuminating.
