Sitting it out waiting for a bigger club no doubt. Pulls will walk into the next big job available. Reckon 18mths down the line he'll be a forgotten man.

Not much of a surprise really - it would be interesting to know why...budget, wages, potential, structure, waiting for a bigger job? Combination of all all of those.

Quite a few more fashionable jobs available or soon to become available - Fulham anytime soon, talk of last chance saloon for Dougie at Bolton, the Watford geezer supposedly walking a thin line though they're lying 2nd at present, Adkins had better watch it as well.
I'm sure Warnock to Palace upset a few calculations - what with Lennon, Hughton, Mackay, Pulis, Steve Clarke, Zola, Coyle, Billy Davies, Powell, Mowbray........ + some I'll have forgotten, there's a lot of high profile names unemployed at the moment.
I deliberately discounted Beeston, who in their right freaking mind would want to be in that mix at the moment ......

Perhaps Lennon turned us down after he didn't get through the second interview. Therefore, it follows that unless they are having third interviews which is really kicking the arse out of it, there may be a decision quite soon.

Today's Yorkshire Post :
Lennon and Mackay did speak to Huddersfield. Neither man, though, is in the running with Lennon – who like Pulis commanded a big wage in his last job – indicating that, despite being impressed by what the Yorkshire club had to say, he was holding out for an offer from a Premier League club or, failing that, a job in the upper echelons of the Championship.

Not too fussed
Anyone mentioned in the short list could manage Celtic to the title so that proves nothing IMO. Celtic could even appoint the likes of Wadsworth, Hockaday, Ternant ... and would still win the SPL
Nothing against Lennon - he may be decent - but I won't pay him inflated wages because he won the SPL a few times with Celtic

Sounds like a complete kop out to me. Obviously not got through the interview stages.

I heard Lennon turned down the job when he saw a photoshopped picture of him meeting with Dean Hoyle and realised that the death threats he received at Celtic would be nothing to the bother he would have being stalked by a crazy man with a crayon drawn "Newsnetwork" ID card.

Maybe he's after the Leeds job In that case he'll probably be appointed and sacked before we've appointed a manager, putting him in the frame for our job again!

If Neil Lennon making a phone call to Dean Hoyle regarding the set-up and make-up at the club and then following it up with another long phone call before deciding he wasn't going to apply despite being impressed is turning us down then so be it. I thought we'd have had to ask him first to be turned down.

If it is true good on him for being honest and saying we are not for him - we could get all sniffy about this but I'd rather we get a manager who wants to be manager of HTAFC and thinks he can do a good job for us.

Exactly. If he doesn't want the job then he isn't the right man. We need someone who wants to be at Town.

I thought we'd have had to ask him first to be turned down. no no no, that just will not fit in with the DATM approach of conjuring up the worst case images and scenarios and then going off on melodramtic rants and tirades covering 127 pages on a thread regardless of what the actual facts may or may not be just no fun whatsoever in this kind of sensible posting sort it out will ya

with lennons recent experience, if we ever got Raith Rovers in the cup or had a difficult away trip to Morton he would have been ideal.
Forest at home or Cardiff away would have blown his mind. The indoor changing rooms at away grounds would have thrown him to start with ..
