Looking at their songs etc. the secret is capos and choreography. Having someone there demanding that you participate, asking you to bounce in unison, clap etc. Aesthetically, simply having someone to tell people to get their flags us and scarves up would be worthwhile. This is especially important at times like last night when you're 3-0 down and people aren't in the mood (I try to get songs started but my voice for some reason only decides to break when everything's gone silent!). Tifo-wise I think simpler the better, like the banners in the 2nd vid.

Capo is the way forward, for sure.
I don't mind standing at the front but I'm crap at remembering songs to start.
With a bit of planning though, we could really ramp it up especially in the central block.

I think we need to try and encourage arm movements etc so it looks like we're constantly moving like those Aussies rather than standing freezing with arms folded.

e.g
Swing scarves around to 'Blue and White Army', 'We're All Mad...' Scarves up for 'Smile A While' Bouncing to 'We Love You', 'Since I Was Young' Two-sided call and response to 'We Are The North Stand, Loyal Supporters'.
etc. etc.

Living in Denmark my look at the English football fans, is maybe abit different from you guys.
In Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Poland, the ultras or fans is abit the same. There is alot of songs with drums and flags. I do know that many in England wants to do the same, but what many of you maybe dont know, is that people loves the English form for support here in Denmark. Sing loud , sing alot and get more flags to games. But in my personal option dont ever use drum, its something that dont fit the culture in England.
And yes there is teams where the drum works, Palace, Pompey are the teams first in my mind.
But that just my two cents.

It isn't beaten 90 minutes non stop, it is used when required. I Beleive it's not the drum that is the problem, it's the drummer. Get a good drummer and you will get a good atmosphere. If we had a home end with 5k in like liverpools KOP then you don't need a drum.

I refuse to acknowledge them. Why's that?! They are a vile bunch. Their blood stained poppies was enough for me. I'll never view them as ultras. Nothing more than a bunch of IRA sympathisers. Fuck em.

Straying from the original point of this thread but I thought today was inspirational in a sense. Imagine if those fans that went today (more so those at the back) came in the NSL and made a racket like that every week. Was fantastic, going to have to try and get my voice back before next week!

Quality effort. Was quite a few NSL lads and Kilner boys too, including both drummers.

Drummer duo is the way forward. Hoped the Poznan might have taken off, maybe an experiment for home games

I was delighted people didn't stop singing until the end, some true ultra spirit shining through.

I was delighted people didn't stop singing until the end, some true ultra spirit shining through. There was a period of around 5 mins before half time when the singing stopped for a bit. People were looking round and it was as if they were thinking 'this is a bit awkward'. Imagine if we could get that at home whereby it was awkward or embarrassing NOT to sing!

In case any of you need cheering up been chatting on some other forums and we've been getting some nice compliments from other groups eg Aldershot, Oxford, Palace. Some Mutual inspiration there. Should network with them more they're good lads and helpful.

Not really TIFO but it's a good example of what we are aiming for.
