Any news on when these are going to be out? One of the stadium shop staff told me they would be out soon, and that was over a month ago. Or have I missed them?

Someone put the release date on here a while ago, can't remember it exactly.
Hope there isn't too many being sold. It will take the edge off.
One pops up on ebay every now and again, be better off getting that.

Guy at the club shop said Friday. However, I enquired about one before the middlesborough game and they said the Monday after that game so your guess is as good as mine

Jarvis said on twatter on 7th Nov that they were due out shortly. HTAFC Retail then said they'd have an update on Monday, which they didn't....

Sounds a bit of a farce on the clubs part this. Not that it's that big of a deal, but if they something is going to be available on/around a certain time, I don't think it's too much to expect them to actually make sure it is.

Only reason I can think is that they are anticipating high demand so have ordered additional stock in order to make sure they can fulfill all the orders. The retail department does seem to move ridiculously slow though.

simple rule. if things aren't going to be ready by the next day/week/month then don't say they are. it just winds everyone up

Does the re issue of the shirt mean we will be making a concerted effort to get into the league where we wore them originally!

How much better does that look than the bloody awful thing the team are wearing this season? proof that things were indeed better in the old days.

Are the 600,000 people who were born in Crossley Maternity Hospital allowed to wear the shirt, given that they were born on the outside edge of MIrfield ?
If so, I want one.

No, not until demand has been sated within Mirfield. Which rules me out, unless I claim my former school as my home, Philinborabora.

Picked up a couple of these from the Town Shop in the packhorse today, and have to say I'm chuffed to bits with it. The quality is spot on, and as someone who want even born when these shirts originally came out, I think that looks-wise it absolutely trumps any other Town shirt we've had in my lifetime, including the Panasonic one, which is also very good.
Kudos to the Club for re-issuing these.

Brilliant idea but it looks ridiculously poor. Have to say I agree. Tried one on earlier, nice as a shirt I guess but not really like the original.

Brilliant idea but it looks ridiculously poor. Have to say I agree. Tried one on earlier, nice as a shirt I guess but not really like the original. To sell 100 authentic shirts from the past Huddersfield Town has announced it has built a time machine. A member of the retail team will travel back in time to make sure picky Town fans get exact replicas of a shirt made in the past. They did look at other options which included building old clothing machines, opening long since closed factories, and raising the original seamstress from the dead - but to satisfy the 100 Town fans demanding exact replicas they deemed the time machine a cheaper option. Each shirt costs 4 million pounds but as they are exactly the same Town fans have claimed they are happy to pay it for true authenticity.

Haha, picky? Moi?
Like I said they are okay but not the real deal. The material used doesn't make you itch for example.

Looks OK to me although the collar looks a bit big, was never gonna be identical and I'm relieved its not got the tacky stick on badge the original had! Looks like they've gone for the nice emboidered similar to the first 'shiny' kit I remember us having, Baralan I think it was. Now that was a nice kit also. Its a lovely when you take away that stupid shield they insist on putting around it.

Got a feeling back in the day, the players shirts had proper embroidered badges. It was just the fans versions that had the crappy sticker. The collars probably about right baring in mind that photo is of a little kids shirt.

I'm assuming the material is different? The original shirts were made from a coarse type of fabric, itchy as hell it was. My first ever Town shirt.
