Only bit of quality in the game for either side was Butterfields pass inside the fullback pass to Smith

Look at Wednesday's record this season. This game had tight and ugly written all over it.

Bunn should have thrown everything at that chance then.

Dixon is such an average footballer.

At least we're getting at them more now, just nobody reading Scannel's feeding.

Dixon is such an average footballer. Seems to have a very erratic first tough

Good run there from him and his corners and free kicks usually pose our greatest setpiece threat

Bunn should have thrown everything at that chance then. Agreed. What a great cross. Strikers dream

We have looked poor. Should have signed McGugan instead of Poyet.

But pointless without the quality to find a man with the cutback. A better touch and he could have smashed it across the face of goal.

Thankfully Sheffield Wednesday have nothing up front. Passed it around the back OK but done nothing going forward. This is one average game.

If the game continues like this, I'll probably fall asleep and miss the City match.

We have looked poor. Should have signed McGugan instead of Poyet. I disagree Poyet decent in a stopper role. And McGugan anonymous in a creative role for them. Would 442 open the game up too much. If it stays this way I think we will need Wells to take a chance. He would have been closer to Scannell's cross than anyone on the pitch

We really need to be winning these games, I'd definitely get Wells on at half time.
Holt and Bunn ineffectual, but I'd sacrifice one of the three central midfielders.
If we keep it the same, one of them needs to be getting in the box as it's Holt on his own plus Bunn who needs to get across and in front of his man when Scannell attacks his man.
Caught on our heels too often, their keeper hasn't made a save which isn't good enough for the home team.
Up the tempo, increase the pace, get stuck in and get men forward.
At this stage of the season we're surely better off going for the win and risking defeat, than grind out a 0-0.

Only just got in from work can someone give me a quick run down of line-up/formation and how weve done?

Both teams lacking any cutting edge upfront. 0 shots on target.

Wells on at half time, 4-4-2. Need someone else up front to trouble them.

Dixon is such an average footballer. I wish he was that good. Still never seen him have anything approaching a half-decent game (hoping for some NickHudds style reverse curse).
