nick if you are truly in 'two minds' we are in serious trouble.. does the other person know? to be honest at this price I only need 5 tickets but I might buy 10, using black Friday mentality..

Probably a reason for them not doing it (FA minimum prices or something?), but surely they'd be better off keeping the deal at the same prices for pay on the day (perhaps just for season ticket holders)? A lot of people wouldn't bother buying tickets in advance for a game like this, and I suspect they'd get a lot more coming through the gates if it was a tenner/fiver.
It's still a decent price and fair play from the club, but it always seems like we set ourselves up for these offers not being taken full advantage of, whether that's making them too complicated/too short notice etc etc

Should have been £10 across the board with kids for a quid

Should have been £10 across the board with kids for a quid Or better still pay the kids a quid to come. 5000 kids in there would be money well spent (bang the crisp prices up though).

Should have been £10 across the board with kids for a quid Agreed , but the ST holders would more than likely go into whinge mode again

4th round against Leicester was a tenner pay on the day. On a Saturday when we would have been at home in the league had we not had cup involvement - 6 thousand town supporters turned up. So quite a few SC holders who would normally have attended the match if it had been a league game didn`t attend as they couldn`t afford it or had something better to do.

no it wouldn't.. this is a home cup tie, we don't need priority its not Liverpool or man utd.. every adult a tenner, kids a fiver, buy a kids ticket get one free. the selling of tickets prior to the game is to stop a shitload walking up at ten to 3 and trying to pay to get in. I will buy mine early to avoid that scenario. I don't mind queueing to get into a 'full house', I hate doing it to get into a 3/4 empty house..

Well that's it, surely games like this are a good opportunity the get the next generation hooked into supporting town. Some of the teams in the prem offer the kids for quid scheme, which for me is surely a no brainer.

In that case if Reading have allowed us to give discount to ST holders then I can't see them having a problem with the kids for a quid.

Surprised we could offer tickets at a tenner, thought it was £15 minimum. Well done to the club.

At the speed in which they serve beer in the FML I wouldn't be to concerned if I was G, we all know dom doesn't carry a wallet, he carries a purse. And that purse hasn't made an appearance since James Vaughan played a full 90 minutes, and even then it had nowt in it. He's tighter than a camels arse in a sandstorm.

Can't argue with a tenner. I am sure there will be some 'mutterings' about the price though LOL

be lucky to get 8,000...what's the advantage in coercing fans to buy tickets before the game ? seems barmy to me...just make it same price for everybody ffs...has all the hallmarks of another 'Clibbs Classic'..

don't mind it being same price for all adults..just don't want to queue with the 'peasants' at ten to 3 with their filthy money...plus I get to sit where I always do..
