Having looked through all the suggestions this appears to be the only one that isn't terrible/cringeworthy.

Looking back at the moments after the wembley penalty shoot out , i cannot ever remember in my 52 years when the club had anybody at board level with such passion as Mr Hoyle. The type of passion witnessed from Hoyle after the penalty shoot out was the same type of passion that i witnessed from our fans in the early 70s era. You can see exactly what the club means to him after towns fate was decided when promoted , and there is no doubt in my mind that the club will allways be in safe hands as long as he is at the healm. Hoyle has done his best to get the club where it is today, and some kind of lasting tribute to the man is the least the fans can do.

If anybody is feeling inspired to donate (anything from a quid up), then please do. We need a brand new crowd surfer for next season ;-)

Will stick some money but just want to suggest that since NSL funds are low perhaps a big surfer might want to have something more generic on it as opposed to Hoyle, and get Hoyle a smaller one instead? Just thinking practically if we want a surfer we're only gonna be able to get one so should be something history/club related? Don't really have a justification for this just gut feeling.

Haha you make it sound like a ablue Peter or Art Attack contest!
Unfortunately art is definitely not my strong point or else I'd enter to win a chance to meet 'The Head'.

I would personally love to see a Cowshed / Deano mashup to celebrate our new home end, and our chairman.

Not sure these Dean specific banners are proving that popular. Maybe something that gives reference to what he has done for the club with reference to Dean on may be better.
Cowshed mashup might be better, especially if we are going to use it as a surfer.

THE COWSHED in the famous rustic lettering showing the back of the shed at the top of the flag...Deano in the middle, the image from Wembley 2012 when he was on the pitch holding the trophy pointing up to the fans...and then at the bottom of the flag...'Those were the days my friend'...Sorted !!

Just thinking of possible wordings:
Nobody takes the cowshed end The spirit of the cowshed Pride of (West) Yorkshire There's a team that is dear to its followers (or some other smile a while lyric) We are the people who sing of victory Those were the days my friends Keep the blue flag flying high

Love it! those were the days, the Cowshed and Dean Hoyle are all different eras for HTFC and should be kept separate on banners in my opinion. Quite like the One team , one man etc banner but awful font. Needs a more aggressive style of lettering not brush strokes. The other blue and white one looks like a mass produced club shop design.

I know I'm being bias but this is my favourite so far. Play on words, nice and simple, would look good as a surfer imo.
