Indeed yes; I have a half hour walk to the ground - going down: always optimistic (hoping for a good game and a Town win) Walking home after a win (any kind of win) takes very little effort Walking home after a performance like the cup game against Reading (or any other loss) and the walk up the hill feels like an Everest expedition As you may imagine, I'm one of those guys who'll take a scruffy 1 - 0 over a high scoring loss any day. Hoping for an easy stroll on the way home tomorrow.... UTT When the gondola starts operating you wont need to walk and it wont matter if we win or lose!?

High tempo
Pressing the ball
Width
High fitness levels
On the floor
Play on the front foot
Speed
Movement off the ball
Interchange of positions
Best example of that this season? Notts Forest at home - Believe it or not, and Powell wouldn't believe it, we played 442, Scannell and Bunn out wide and didn't play two defensive midfielders or 7 defensive minded players as we seem to do now. We got at them from minute one, pressed the ball and set the tempo. Fantastic performance.

The football we play now is far more entertaining than the football we played in league 1. Theres the odd lousy game, but in general its much better. I agree !!! Its not to everyones taste but I like to see a passing game rather than long ball, yes there are times when we dilly dally around at the back, but overall I think we've improved over last season. Consistancey is the key to success in this division, with so many teams being of a similar standard. But even Derby and Boro, who are clearly the best in the division have had a couple of wobbles!! We simply, dont seem to have the players who came play at thier highest level week in week out. We've shown that when we're at it we can beat the better sides in the division and we've seen 5 or 6 really good performnces at home and a couple away, but we just dont seem to be able to keep it going over a run of games. But the same could be said about all the teams outside the promotion and relegation zones, hence going back to my original comment that consistancy is the key. Cant see us going down, however I dont think we are 100% safe yet.
