After 4 successive defeats Oldham have now won both games since AG went there and have kept a clean sheet on each occasion. I know it's (only) League 1 but well done Anthony.

How can he be loaned if his contract is up in the summer? Surely he has joined Oldham on a shirt term deal?

Gerrard sounds to be loving it at Oldham, good luck to the lad. He's better than Wallace

Thinks he has the ability his cousin had but all he did was head the ball back to the opposition.
There must be a reason Championship clubs have kept letting him go throughout his career.

And there he goes again... always got something to say. Needs to let his football do his talking. His career will be over before the penny drops.

It does beg the question as to why the reporter didn't put these points to him. I don't know why they bother doing interviews with anyone these days. They just allow the player/manager to say what they want, never gainsaying wht has been said. What are the odds of RL interviewing Davidson this weekend? ven if they do, and he says that he was misquoted, they would end that conversation there. Don't know who is more gullible, the reporters for just acting as a mouthpiece, or the fans showing any interest in such total rubbish.

The guy has mental issues.. It's a shame because most folk would love having the ability to play at the level he has and earn the money he has... He has more chips than Mccains and needs to shut up get fit and be the best man... And player that he can be ... But he won't he will carry on until his spiral down the leagues is complete ...

When he was good he was good, but by the end he was just a fat joke and that was his fault and nobody else's.
If he wants to try and get back into this division then good luck to him but he needs to shut his mouth and drop the ego, he won't be getting up here with Oldham that's for sure.

What has he said in that interview that folk should get upset about? He's right in the fact that some fans who claim to be in the know start some rumour of him having a bad attitude, which then spirals out of control with no hard evidence to back it up. We've had similar stuff said about Vaughan, Hammill and even Billing earlier in the season and most of it was probably rumour rather than hard facts.
Gerrard may be past his best but I'd still have him in my team ahead of Hudson any day of the week.

It's not always just about the team though is it. No smoke without fire and I'd much rather have Hudson on the training pitch and in the dressing room. Having said that I'd rather have neither of them on the actual pitch.

He came across as a cock in his first interview after signing for Town, wasn't a surprise how it ended, it will probably end in a similar way for him at Oldham and wherever else he ends up. I guess he didn't see the irony in slating his past employers yet again in an interview but at the same time complaining that he was labelled as a bad egg.
