Definitely sounds like he's been told by Town that they'd like to have him back next season and it all depends on Man Utd. Hopefully, van Gaal will be happy for him to get a full season at Championship level under his belt at one club and he'll be with us pre-season.

Anyone noticed how much results have picked up since Robinson disappeared? 1 defeat in 7 and some very tough games in there
Coincidence?

Does really well in a system that offers little cover on the left hand side. Had a baptism of fire really, but I like what he's done so far. A lot. And as stated, his corner technique is brill, causes all sorts of havoc in the box. Hope we can get him for another year.

Are his corners Dave Cowling-esque?

James is twice the player of Robinson, better defender and not only goes forward well, but has an end product and puts in a good ball. Quality again today no coincidence the results have picked up since he slotted in nicely.

However yes, both will go on to have a good career in the game

Thought Robinson was good but James superior in every department Looks like a full Town player as opposed to just a loanee Love to see him here next season

Impressed with this guy and would be looking to take him on a full season loan next season if Manchester United are agreeable. Not sure he can claim the goal though, clearly an own goal!! Definatley an OG

I think James is much better than Robinson. His use of the ball is terrific, really top drawer, Puts over a great cross, has a lot of energy and defends well too. Robinson was ok, but this lad is a good level above him in practically every aspect. If we could get him back on loan next season it would be a great signing

Quality full back, has all the attributes to be a top level player. Hardly ever gives the ball away nor does he just lump it down the line hoping for a runner. Corners are the best I've seen in my 13 years of supporting the club. He has a fair bit of pace and his defending is pretty good too. Really hoping we can get him back next season !!

he looks a lovely player. Never wastes possession, and when under pressure is extremely cool (the lad has been exposed since he came in due to our lack of left sided player). Would be a huge season long loan signing if we could make it.
On that note, what the hell is it costing Derby having Bent, Ince and Lingard on loan?

On that note, what the hell is it costing Derby having Bent, Ince and Lingard on loan? Being as they're on the tele 3 or 4 times a month, I'd imagine the cost is negligible to them in the big scheme of things.

More to 'how to we compete with it' sort of way. They probably average double attendance to what we get and can spend their money how they like. But really, whats is actually costing them to have these players in on loan?

Jesse Lingard, not on much???
He is/was a Man U squad player. 22 years old. You tell me what they earn. Bent, Christ knows. Isnt he Villas record signing? Ince , at Hull, but captured infront on a load of clubs.
Once again 3ps. I am only asking, whats it costing Derby to have these types of players on loan? I am only asking as to 'how do we compete with these sort of singings?'

Got a habit of finding his teammates with a pass . Most of our defenders do the opposite

Really hope we try sign him when his loan is up. United have much better options so they will hopefully be looking to get rid

Derby have over 20k season ticket holders, often have 30k attending and a stadium which generates revenue for them, not the management company running it plus their American owners have endured circa £15 million losses over the last few seasons. I understand success in the play offs this season is vital for them this year.

As things stand they'd need to beat Norwich then Boro. It's madness to gamble so much on something as uncertain as football.
