Man U have to beat 'ull about 7 - 0 and hope Arsenal lose to West Brom for this to be in any way meaningful for them. Will they go for it or will it be a meaningless game for them? Either way, it gives 'ull a glimmer of hope.

I can see Hull beating Man Utd, as they are in 4th spot and no chance of improving or worsening their position.
Big Sam saying West Ham are going there for the win. It might need one almighty effort from Newcastle to avoid the trap door.

Unbelievable how many chances Hull have passed up in these last two games. Luck has deserted them

West Ham have been pathetic today. Why go one up front with no support in a meaningless game for them. Might aswell go all out attack and gives those fans who have travelled 6 hours something to cheer. Sums Allardyce up

Over-achievement Newcastle-style (I've always liked 'em by the way too, ever since my uncle took me to a game in the sixties against Leicester)

He's probably having a nice, convenient pint with Mike Ashley as we speak.

Really classy from West Ham announcing Allardyce had been sacked at half time on their website and then 1 minute after the final whistle on twitter.
Probably best for Allardyce to be honest. Fans never took to him despite him re-establishing them as a premier league team.
