Looks like it's going to happen tomorrow, I think that's a good appointment to be honest. Although I don't think it matters as working with Cellino is impossible for any manager I reckon. I wouldn't mind him here instead of CP and his negative football.
No doubt L666ds will be a shambles next season, if we don't finish above them next season we might as well give up. Still fuming about being cheated out of finishing above them this season. Football league is corrupt!

I know that Leeds fans are the biggest attention seekers about, but this is getting beyond pathetic.

To quote Kevin Keegan-
"I'd luv it, luv it, just luv it"
If Rossler takes L33ds down.

So many people have trouble with typing double E's on their keyboards. Is this a Microsoft issue?

Apparently, since returning to the club, Cellino hasn't even spoken to Redfearn.

Redfearn and Powell played together at Charlton, don't suppose there is likely to be an opening for him in our backroom staff but I wouldn't mind if it happened, seems a decent bloke and steadied a very rocky ship at Leeds.

Superb appointment, if.....he wasn't joining a basket case of a Club like Leeds United are currently.
I rate Rosler, would love to have him down here but why oh why he has joined the Circus can only be put down to money / desperation and nothing else.

Seeing all his quotes and them from Pearson and it all looks quite impressive, but you know Cellino will just ruin it all (hopefully!) - once he goes they can move forward! (Hopefully he'll stay!!)

He did very well at Brentford. Wigan seemed rotten by the time he arrived, 2-3 managers have struggled there now.
It'll end in tears though.

Think he'll struggle at Leeds due to the Italians involvement in first team affairs. I wouldn't mind Redfearn in at Town in some capacity, even as director of football because he's certainly got more experience in football than Ross Wilson has and also will have many more contacts.

Re Wigan, he still managed to get them in the playoffs and they beat Man City in the FA cup. He's had differences with every chairman he's worked for (I guess most managers do though at some point to be fair)so will be interesting to see how he works with the Italian madman.

He will take charge, they win their first five matches, the fans are happy and Cellino will upset the apple cart. Under Redfearn and Thompson, I was worried they had a Management Team capable of building something with potentially a good season ahead and then Cellino goes suicide I met Rosler when Brentford were staying at the Village Hotel outside Leeds and he is a thoroughly nice Chap and extremely knowledgable. Either way, failure lies ahead, they lose matches, he goes, they win matches, he goes. Why on earth he has taken this role is baffling. Or not as it is purely for the money which you can't blame him for and / or just desperate to get back on the Management Ladder, regardless of destroying his reputation and credibility that he has worked a lifetime to build.

Is Ross Wilson destined to be the new Lee Clark on here? Experience as a player in the game doesn't necessarily make him better than Ross Wilson or surely Southampton would have tapped him up as his time at L666s was destined to be short-term.

Can anyone on here please tell me exactly what Russ Wilson has ever achieved in football? - As for Rosler, he's got loads of experience as a player and has done OK at both Brentford & Wigan and he left Wigan with a 40% win record, which the much rated Malky Mackay (although not by me ) could never match before he was shown the door.
As for Rosler, he's handled 343 games in his capacity as a manager at various clubs, including Brentford & Wigan and he has still ended up with a very respectable 43.44% overall win record.
So, providing Cellino allows him to get on with the job he's employed him to do, I see no reason why Leeds won't flourish under his stewardship and lets be honest, if Hull get relegated and Boro fail to nail Norwich, then we will have no Yorkshire side in the top division.
So for me, I don't care which Yorkshire clubs find there way into the Premiership as long as at least some do, be it Town, Wednesday, Boro, Rotherham, or Leeds, because I'm fed up to my back teeth in seeing all those teams from across the Pennines hogging the limelight.
