londontown you really are beyond contempt. Read Timothy Snyder's Bloodlands instead of wasting your fucking time with that landfill crap that you constantly pollute this football website with. Many books have been written about the horrors of the 2nd world, and from very different perspectives. These include the documentation of allied war crimes, also. Personally, I am sick of the hypocrisy of the far left, primarily because they always claim innocence. If that makes me below contempt, then so be it. The sad reality is that the far left are making progress with some of their very dangerous schemes. People are free to bury their heads in the sand and ignore the impending dangers of a centralised EU dictatorship, the hijacking of environmental concerns with the carbon tax fraud, and unregulated mass immigration. Of course, anyone who dares question these realities is dismissed as far right. At least we now have a chance of turning FIFA around.

I understand that one of the FIFA executives under 24 hour house arrest is none other than Paraguay's Nicolas Leoz. This is the same man who said that he would only vote for England (2018) if they named the FA Cup after him.
Confinement will now give him time to contemplate the future and while he's twiddling his thumbs he could start by putting these words in order: served, dish, revenge and cold!

If they leave Ukraine alone, they can have the World Cup for me.

Ukraine is worth more to them in gas revenue. They'll have both.

the West/USA poked its nose into Ukraine and supported the ousting of the President.. we tried it on with Putin and are reaping what we sowed..
Foreign policy dictated by people who don't listen to advice from the right quarters.. Where next can we make a bollox of it?
Truth is sometimes the 'bad man' is better than the alternatives...especially when you really have no idea how many alternatives there might be and they then have to then kill each other first before killing the 'bad man'....
most of the people who die, don't know the 'bad man' at all and he never really or truly affected their existence but the array of alternatives killing them certainly do... hence the massive bail outs going on...
taking the dissidents and those genuinely in fear of oppression or death is one thing, creating a raft of oppressors and death merchants to scare the shit out of everyone is another..

I'm loving this drip by drip release of information Qatar/Russia. There must be some corrupt gangsters at Fifa really suffering. Much better than it all coming out at once!

Steady on though Kenny. I believe Sepp is trying to build a war chest to support their legal costs by recouping the investment from their blockbuster movie... www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-33050289Particularly like the 'one ticket bought at a cinema in Phoenix' comment...

I must look back at recent episodes of Kermode and Mayo's film review, just to see if Kermode massacred it!

Us the Germans and frogs and dutch should team up and boycott fifa We have let them get away with it too long If we treaten to pull out the sponsorship would collapse and something would have to change Bye bye sepp I have the same thought, perhaps though we should wait, there just might be a lot more cases of corruption and bribery concerning many countries, including some you mention.

The start of a new era, minus all the corruption and shadowy goings on. So, one of the 2 in the running and said to be favourite, is the Asia delegate who comes from that hotbed of football, Bahrain. I smell a rat already !

one of the favourites has serious links with footballers being victimised/tortured in their own countries during the arab spring?? another good starting place for a FIFA President..

Other voting has happened today at FIFA and it tells you all you need to know about this organisation. 22 delegates voted against reform in FIFA as they didn't think it was necessary!! and they are re electing the Audit committee. One of the members is inside for fraud but 2 delegates voted for him to stay on the committee. Are these people for real??!! Fold the organisation and start again is the only solution.

Gianni Infantino elected FIFA president From the village next door to Blatter... There didn't appear to be an outstanding candidate, that's or sure. Same meat, different gravy.

In my opinion he was the best of a bad bunch, his fellow candidates we're nothing special; Prince Ali from Alladin, Sheikh Abdullah, a sex whale and some twat that got no votes, FIFA are an absolute laughing stock.
