They are starting to offload some players, eg Ward (to Forest of all clubs!) but they'll have some serious thinning to recoup that sort of money.

And now Ince has signed - £4.75m!! How on earth are Derby staying within FFP? LINKI'm confused with this move. His daddy apparently got his Champions league and Championship mixed up when he was touting him to the world. To be fair to him, they both do sound similar.

I was talking to a Forest fan today who was laughing about the transfer embargo that they are under. Yes, they're losing Lascelles and Darlow to Newcastle, and they can't buy anybody in, but he's looking forward to seeing a procession of loan players that they can cast their eyes over for a few months and then snap up if they want them when the embargo is lifted. Those that they don't want will simply go back and Forest haven't wasted any money on contracts for them. Absolute farce.

Ince is a great signing at this level. One of the few who are with the excessive fee. Guaranteed to contribute to 20 goals.

Saw this video on the local news programme last night. Features Butterfield and others, but the commentator calls it correctly when she says "the most expensive photograph that Derby County has ever taken". Don't let anyone tell you that they're not sticking two fingers up to FFP! LINK

If you get promoted you can just ignore it and nothing will happen. FFP is a complete joke.

Not as much as originally planned due to interpretation of accounting methods, but still a fine.

Think there's still an outstanding court case for QPR, too

20 million pound punt on getting to the Prem just over this summer you can see how it could turn the head of someone like Butterfield. But that's how football is...

Think there's still an outstanding court case for QPR, too QPR could still be relegated out of the Football League if they don't settle their fine.
