Nah, I think it's safe to say we'll average more home fans than you again next season. It'd be great to get the away followings yous get in the champ, it really bolsters the average, doesn't it? I hope that's of some comfort to you whilst you're slugging it out with Oxford and Northampton next season....who are ya, who are ya. Year on year progression. German investors. Takeovers. 20,000 ST sale targets. Multiple new sponsorships. Reverting back to stripes. Next season looks quite rosey, to be honest. We'll piss this tinpot league, and if we don't, we'll cross paths in the 17-18 season when your luck swallows you whole.

Nice one lads , I have been keeping a watchful eye on this thread and wondered how long it would take to reel queeny in after their tragic departure from the play-off's.

Just looking through this thread also, reminds me of when they are unlucky here and unlucky there , every year you fail it becomes harder year on year and every team is getting stronger in and around you. Not saying we was amazing when we went up but majority of our promotion season was good and then we got a man in that could finish the job for us, albeit a bit of luck in final, but any team needs that in football.
My opinion is that your team needs to play to strengths but unfortunately your plan A did not work and without sounding optimistic your team would not survive in thechampionship due to tactics and players alike. It has taken us a good few year to build a competitive team and our managerial changes have not helped but we have always had enough quality to mix it in this division.
Finally if ya dont come up in next few year, could just become an also ran in the division as the optimism and buzz around the club dies, but heyho see what next season brings for u

You have a one trick pony manager that employs hoofball, a squad that looks lightweight without town fan Hanson, and a strip that looks like congealed monkey vomit wiped over the shit stain of a hippo after a night out on vindaloo and lager. Yep it is looking so promising for you. Congrats on achieving nothing this season.

Rented ground and having to do a crowd share to pay for it to have a lick of paint. Can`t afford electronic season cards. Sell around 10k season tickets with the res free to kids and flexi cards - still a good effort considering the football on offer. In short lightyears behind Huddersfield.

Annnnnnnnd new owners confirmed. Take over next week.
Initial £10m investment to get out of L1, then on from there.
Keep talking little pups, keep talking.
We've been through some reete sheete since relegation from the Prem in 2001, but nobody can deny that we're on our way back.
I suggest you beg for more pocket money To ensure Champ status, because it's becoming very likely we could be leap-frogging you next campaign.

A fluke couple of years doesn't change that. You've been in the league more with Park Avenue and Halifax than you ever have with us or Leeds. You just think football started when the PL did or summat...getting promoted would be over achieving for Bradford, you are where you belong historically. It's dangerous to get ideas above your station.

The league you currently ply your trade in, you know, the one that constantly boast about being in; we have spent the same number of seasons in as you. Well, almost. You've spent 30 years in the Champ, and we've spent 29. However, we haven't seen that league for 12 years. Before your return, we'd spent more time in the Champ than you. You need to let go of the 1st division championships, too. They were a long, long time ago. The Prem is a completely different ball game, but I wouldn't expect you to know much about the Prem - coupled with European footbal; but that is a level you'll never EVER see, I suppose.

So taken over by investors that will saddle the club with massive debts. A whole ten million - wow. Would struggle to buy Wells back for that if you included in his wages over a 4 year deal.

You need to get your facts straight. We've spent over 35 seasons in the championship. We've also spent 30 seasons (not including the war years) in the top flight to your 12. We've spent just 6 seasons in the bottom division, you've been in it for something like 30 seasons. You're a joke if a club, dear and a bit if investment wont automatically get you promoted. It took us ages. With thus takeover will they start charging you to get in?

That's because the time we spent out of it was, for the most part, in the top flight unlike yourselves. Any chance you could send Thrupennybithead or Kop Kred over here in your place? At least they were good to share a laugh with rather than at as they appreciated self deprecation.

Amongst many other things, stats are never going to be a strong point for Sadford are there. You've only ever finished above us like 24 times or something. As in, ever. Well over 100 years and most of it us being above you. If anyone needs to let go of anything it's those two abysmal years in the top flight. That is the pinnacle of your history: you scraped up by your teeth and got arseholed the year after. It's easy to tell other clubs to let go of their history when you haven't got any. I'm sorry you haven't got any. I'm sorry for yet another year you're below us (80+). We haven't seen you for a decade and you're still here bragging about your nothing club. We'll send you postcards we promise. I hope you manage to overachieve and come up.

You can't use history to back anything up marr, that's unfair. We just have to accept that Bradford are coming back (sure they're out of the PO) and we can never match them. The fact history and stats and anyone with two brain cells or a memory knows that's complete made up bollocks is neither here nor there. The Bradford logic.

How long before the "we want our club back" protests that usually follow foreign investment. At least they wont borrow against the assets as there aren`t any. If you have the misfortune to come from Bradford then it`s reasonable to support the hapless mob but why on earth would anybody not a supporter want to buy Bradford City?
