I assume they'd have reduced the odds once they'd seen Wednesday named a full strength side, and Arsenal named the side they did. my mates a wednesday fan and he said they had some 1st teamers out, that goalie is there 3rd choice only 18 and they didnt have foristeiri up front or turner in defence was still a strong arsenal side though

There were only two changes for Wednesday from their game against Rotherham last Friday - their keeper has a long standing injury so was rested, and Forestieri was cup tied so couldn't play.
Wednesday will be in with a shout of going up this season. I work in Sheffield so know plenty of their fans also.

You will be too strong for us in a few weeks time.

Arsenal had three or four on debut.

so if we use the Capital cup as a yard stick,,,does it mean that if Wednesday keep this up,they could be as good as Bradford City,,,its no surprise they beat Arsenal,,in fact there's only one team in the championship who I think couldn't beat Arsenal in the cup,and that's Town

The only cup they might possibly win would be the district league cup.

We won The Ship Cup back in the 70's or 80's. What a night that was, open top bus parade, civic receptions - the lot.

Any guesses as to how much Town will have to charge for the away tickets for this? It's not on official site yet. It looked like Wednesday were going to hike their prices up and I usually go to this away day but might have to reconsider if it's silly money.

Just been announced as Cat E, same as Forest, so it'll be £30. Not the cheapest day out but it's less than we've paid at Ipswich & Leeds
