For thanking Ted for his thanks. It's probably safe to say you have broken the chain there.

Nick chuckles to himself at the usual responses to his posts...
Then looks longingly at the prototype 'Wallace & Grommit' trousers he never quite perfected...

There you go, I gave it another chance. I clicked play on that video.
What a load of miserable shite.
How that set of tossers got a record deal I'll never know. The 80s was a shite place for music.

I'm bit simple but what has The Smiths got to do with it ? Good of you to ask Nick. But don't panic. This charming man was simply suggesting that joke isn't funny anymore. Now I've started something I can't finish so stop me if you think you've heard this one before.

Did they ever do any instrumentals? Pipes, if I filmed my bass speaker wobble during This Charming Man and showed you the vid, you'd swear it was Sly and the Family Stone or Parliament. Under all the jangle and droan, is some funk.

Did they ever do any instrumentals? A bit of gold dust for you pipes. You can leave your fools gold (and the rest of their back catalogue) at the door

Did they ever do any instrumentals? In response to your to and fro with deleted member on the CP/QPR/Bad keeper, good free kick thread I almost quoted Mozzer. I like his lyrics and they are often apposite "In my life, why do I give valuable time to people who don't care if I live or die?" I didn't cos I don't want to cause offence and I wondered if it perhaps applies to many of us on here....
