Think that was always going to be the case with Huws based on his rumoured wage alone.
Shame about Bradshaw but Walsall would be daft not to be demanding a fair whack for him with the position they're in.
Good news about Paterson and he must be pretty confident about the others to even risk mentioning them!

The striker situation is a weird one. Wells doesn't deserve to be benched and an expensive striker isn't going to come here to sit on the bench. You can talk about rotation but it's different with strikers, they need to play games to get confidence and with that comes goals.
It's the one position that would make the most sense to bring a loan signing in at the moment

Priority should be to agree contract with Lolley .Then sign a new CF and CB plus an attacking CM. . On the assumption we keep Huws and Husband for the season we can loan out Holmes,Boyle and Bojaj and we will have done good business in January with savings on wages of Ward Carayol Vaughan and Wallace - albeit we are still paying 40 per cent of JV's wages.. If we can sign any/all of Patterson Huws and Steer in the summer that will be a bonus.

So Patterson is here on loan until the end of the season and we're agreeing a transfer fee for him? Seems an odd priority.
I think I'd rather see a striker and CB first. Patterson's position must have more backup than Carayol's surely?

I think Marcus the fee was agreed when we originally loaned him, the loan was to see if he could still cut it after injuries and loss of his place at forest.

We are going to need such quality players if we're going to progress.

Apparently so - could be wrong here but I heard 700k banded about today Dean's comments today were that we won't be back in for Bradshaw because we were never in for him in the first place. It's strange what folk think they hear sometimes but this particular statement was straight forward. Stuart Webber was seen with a young foreigner today - looked uncannily like a Greek forward plying his trade at Dortmund II

He also doesn't go missing for 80 minutes unlike Carayol who I thought was disappointing and brought nothing to the side as Paterson does.

We are going to need such quality players if we're going to progress. We're going to need a striker too if Wells gets injured, because Miller is not the answer. As good as Paterson is lately, his position is fairly well covered. CB and striker are both poorly covered, even more so after selling Wallace and getting rid of Vaughan. Whilst it's nice to have Paterson, I hope it doesn't stop us getting a centre back and striker.
