Seriously- we have to sign this lad. As good a centre back as we've had since Monkou. Absolutely awesome through all 3 play-off games.

:drunk: Cracking Lee Clark discovery. Come on Bronco it's getting pretty cringeworthy now. Does everyone praise Turnip every time Roberts' name is mentioned?

Cracking Lee Clark discovery. I agree with you to some extent about LC, with some fans being far too harsh, but for god's sake, will you give it a rest.

3 Pipe Problem, I'm not a 'Clark hater' or a 'Clarkite' and fall somewhere in the middle but PLEASE could you give it a bloody rest. Making every single thread about Lee Clark is ridiculously tedious.
I'm sure you'll be all 'They started it' or whatever but it's you who's kept most of it going.
Edit: But yes, Morrison should be an absolute priority.

Leave the ignorant shite that is slung at him out of it and I'll stop reminding you who he signed .. simple.
That 'Thank You Lee Clark' thread is a fkn disgrace. That's what you ought to be embarrassed about. Go in there, credit the bloke for signing and bringing through the players that got us out of league one and show a bit of good grace. It's exactly what Simon Grayson has done.
You've got donkeys going in there slagging Lee Clark off and then going straight out and making a post or a thread praising someone like Morrison, a cracking Lee Clark find .. I've seen a few do it now. Naevity and stupidity in it's extreme.
As long as there's a simpleton on here willing to slate a manager who did his 100% best for our club and signed some cracking talent putting together the side that got us out of league 1, then I'll be here to put them straight. And I won't stop until they've been put proper straight.
We've had the amnesties (sheriff) and we've let it lie but the donkeys come straight back again and then complain when they're put right again.
The OP has been saying all season we're a poor mid table league one side with an above average striker and the muppet needs putting straight. We're a fkn championship side with a squad of players who give everything to a man when needed. To a man, that's keepers, left back, midfield the lot of them. To write them off as a one man team is one of the most stupid, simplistic disingenuous pieces of shite ever written on here ... and that's some feat.

Well, well! Totally correct, the lad's young, he wants to improve himself (and he has) and he appears to love his time here! Sign him up!

I see a lot of what your saying, but I simply cannot agree with that statement. So you are telling me that Miller, Robinson, Roberts, Arfield, Lee, Kay etc are all fit and ready to play in the championship and produce at least 7/10 or 8/10 performance for 90% of the season? Sorry mate but you are plain wrong. Lee Clark put together an average side which included some real quality but also some total dross, and Simon Grayson has acheived some extraordinary with them, for the 3rd time in his relitavely short managerial career

If you can take your tongue out of his arse for a minute and engage whatever brain you've got, you'll see thats an accurate reflection. Im really too chuffed today to bother with numpties. : : : : : :

Why didn't he play last year? Bang on. Clark may have signed him but he chose not to play him. Eye for talent but poor man management, never found his best side and tactically naive. There were good and bad sides to him. But, to agrre with the Cap'n - we should sign him up if at all possible.

Lee Clark put together an average side which included some real quality but also some total dross, and Simon Grayson has acheived some extraordinary with them, for the 3rd time in his relitavely short managerial career Most of those players you list are coming to end of their career, some of them were free signings, one or two of them might well be playing in the championship next season. Every one of them are good enough for a league one squad. Grayson took us one step further than Clark which we should all be celebrating rather than dragging up old battles. Another one here .. www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/120527/exclusive-snodin-rhodes-future-will-be-sorted-week-173036 .. Glynn Snodin - plenty of time and praise for LC in his interview here. Shame some folk on here can't admit they're wrong.

And I won't stop until they've been put proper straight. They've got a different opinion to you. That's all. Neither side will ever convince the other that their own version of 'straight' is gospel so why not just accept that? Both sides have said their piece ad infinitum and to the detriment of many a thread on here, everyone knows where you stand but is it necessary to keep stinking the place out with it? That goes for those who have sly digs as well but those comments would just die under the weight of all the other discussion if nobody rose to it, especially now we've got a Championship season to speculate on and look forward to!

You are incapable of admitting you are wrong, that's your problem. I throw insults around when I'm frustrated. Your ignorance and simplistic attitude frustrate me. At the end of the day, Lee Clark has put together the squad who have got us up. Snodin, Grayson, half the fkn football world who's bothered can see that, if you can't that's your problem. Enjoy your day.

When you can put togethr some kind of reasoned argument to explain why Im wrong then Id be happy to admit I was, but you haven't even come close. Also where have I said Clark hasn't put together the squad that took us up? Your problem seems to be you have to invent things to try and add a little weight to your very simplistic views. Bit like when I apparently expected EVERY Clark signing to be brilliant. When others don't just fall behind your opinion you have a little keyboard tantrum and start insulting them. Whatever, the suns shining, Town are up, who gives a stuff?

Having just read this thread, I'm tempted to take my initial post back with usual slanted arguments following, when yesterday showed us just how fine the line is between success and failure. Anyway, on this point, it's far from bang on and probably the sort of post that makes 3 Pipe rattle on (and on and on ). He brought Morrison in, but the defence just started to keep clean sheets, so he felt he couldn't drop anyone. Completely understandle in other words.

P Clarke got MOTM, but for me Morrison should have had it. Was immense for us at wembley and could do a job for us in the championship surely.

I think Morrison is excellent, for me he everything that I would want from a CB, Pace, Strength, Commitment, Attitude, Agile, Tall, Calm, Great in the air, Tackle, Age on his side & can read a game.
In the 37 years that i've been watching Town, apart from Ken Monkou he's the best CB that we have had.
Does any know how much Reading want for him, I would make Morrison a must have priority

MOTM for me (not a principle that I actually agree with as it's supposed to be a TEAM game!) would have been any one from four - PC, Morrison, Quinn, and McGuire (who managed to nullify the "Jordan" threat very effectively.
But I really don't care (and I'd bet none of the players do) who got that particular accolade -- After eleven crap seasons in the lower leagues ---- WE'RE GOING UP
