If anyone still has tickets to swap drop me a line. Getting ready to go, going to be a blast.

We saw today why Rooney will be starting for England in a month's time. Form is temporary, class is permanent. If Hodgson was smart he'd play Rooney in midfield from where he ran the game today.

To be able to play striker for both club and country, score that many goals AND be able to drop deep into midfield like that and orchestrate an FA Cup final win is the mark of a top player. He has his detractors, but he is a rare footballer.

Didn't see the final but I saw Man ure's previous two games (West Ham and Bournemouth) and thought that Rooney's midfield performances in both were very Paul Scholes-esque. He has the same vision and ability to pick a perfect 40 / 50 yard pass.
Would do for me in England's midfield performing the same role

I was in the 'we don't need Rooney for the Euro's' camp as there's quite a few English strikers ahead of him now with Kane etc but after watching him today there could be a midfield place for him. Problem position is going to be centre back (as with us) neither Stones or Cahill have had good seasons and Smallings idea of defending is to grab hold of the nearest attacker's shirt and hang on for dear life!

Skybet are doing an offer on the Euros if anyone is interested. Bet £10 on a team to win outright, and get a £3 free bet for every game they win. Obviously you'll want to go for the team you think has an easy group and will go the furthest, while having decent odds.
I went for France who are the favourites at 3/1, have an easy group, and a strong team playing at home obviously. Personally think England would be the second best bet looking at the odds (8/1) and groups.

I really, really do not rate Sterling or Wilshere. If either of them played for Swansea or WBA, for example, do you think either would be in the squad?

Just like Chris Smalling, he's garbage, he's only in the team because he plays for Man Utd, as is that Rashford, yet Andy Carroll is totally ignored, scandalous.

Since arriving at Man City, Sterling has gone backwards. I thought he looked likely to be a cracking player based on his breakthrough season, but he certainly isn't at the mo.

Surprised me the other week - Smalling is taller than Carroll. England looked a lot better when Stirling and Wilshire went off and Alii was able to get forward in t'hole. Hope Woy doesn't stick Wazza in there...be a great waste of Alii's talent. I've got the feeling we can beat most teams in Euro 2016. Sadly though I've got an equal feeling that most teams could beat us as well!

Man Utd conceded very few. Watched smalling play this year and he was a beast- strong, rapid and great touch. Comfortably the best English CB and one of the best in the Prem. Rashford- have you seen any of his games? The guys dynamite. Lightening quick natural finisher and superb touch as he showed yesterday. He's going to be a massive star and will be a fixture for England for next ten years. Carroll is injury prone and he'll just get pulled up by euro refs all the time. Would only ever have been a late impact sub.

Shite game, although fair play to Turkey they were better than I thought they'd be. Positives: win, both our strikers are on form

Smalling since Jan 2015 has been one of the top defenders in Europe (based on those stats and ratings sites) - his main issue is his lapses in concentration and silly fouls here or there, like yesterday.
CB is a worry though. Stones will be quality and Cahill has always looked better playing alongside someone who ushers him into position.

Stones isn't an international player at the moment IMO, but the problem we have is we don't have any good international quality centre backs. he has potential but needs better coaching than hes been getting at Everton to get there. Supposed to be moving to man city for way more than hes worth this summer , so hopefully pep will make him the player he could be.

Gone.
