Town had been looking at Mooy before he went to City. So I'm assuming that we made some sort of contact with them over the possibility of a loan deal I was told that Town were about to make an offer for Mooy, but then Man City pounced. The lad is brilliant but is he premiership class yet, he as already come on a lot this season. I saw a DH interview and he stated that Man City asked us if we would like him on a season loan.

Another virtuoso game today but he wasn't alone. Town are bang back in form...& we need to be to stay top 6. If we can add a couple of big lads & get Lolley fit we can stay there.

I keep forgetting about Lolley, that itself will be like another signing this coming month, providing he can get himself fit.

It's a big IF but if he can somehow find his form of last season he could be the player that brings the 3rd & 4th goals that many of our performances deserve, either himself or with his final ball. Major threat from left or 10 & providing competition for both spots.

Us actually signing a player of Mooy's quality was some inspired transfer action. There is no doubt he would walk into the squad of any of those big-spending top 4 clubs

C5 earlier described Shelvey as the best midfielder in the division. I'd have Mooy ahead of Shelvey any day of the week. He absolutely ran the show yesterday, best player I've seen in 25 years of watching Town- only Marcus Stewart, Dean Gorre and Chris Marsden even come close.

Sorry if posted earlier, but couldn't see it! Seems Man City fans have found that video, even though it only shows half the stuff he does. That's it now please.........Sssshhhh. We should be saying how crap he is but we'll consider rescuing his career if they sell him for, say, £100k

Tweet from ManchesTerrier:
Aaron Mooy did well to win MOM today having played 90 mins with a cigar in one hand and a boomerang in the other.

And from another Forest fan..
"Not seen a better player this season than Aaron Mooy for Huddersfield Town. I even applauded when he was named MOTM."

Bostick boots Mooy. At one stage yesterday he had three forest players almost on top of him, and he still managed to come away with the ball. The guy is pure genius..

Mooy not only has excellent close skills and composure, but he has that extra ingredient which is physical toughness ...he's sublime and a delight to watch..
