Aye. You and Nick have said that about every job he's taken since he left Town and he's failed all of them.

Isn't the guy who owns Bury a Town fan? Makes Clark's appointment even stranger.

It's like Town Old Boys there. Good luck Bury, I fear you'll need it.

mmm.....
""I have had a wonderful year as Kilmarnock manager," Clark said.
"The club & fans have treated myself and my family fantastically- we are in a good position with a strong and loyal squad and staff.
"The Directors have given me their full support in rebuilding the squad and the fans will always have a special place in my heart but I still have huge ambition to one day manage at the highest level in England, which is obviously the Premier League, and I feel that the fresh challenge of managing a club in England's League One could provide me with the platform to build towards this goal."

I really hope so Lee. Lee Clark's Newcastle United v David Wagner's Huddersfield Town in the premier league would be great.

Hope he can get the best out if Ishy Miller. Doesn't want a relegation with Kilmarnock on his CV.

I like him. Gave everything in his time with us, just wasn't quite good enough in the end. Good luck to him.

They've only won about 8 times. I bet the supporters have had a memorable last 12 months also.

Ha! I mentioned that previously that the Chairman, Stuart Day, and one of their cheif exec's, Ian Kendall, were big Town fans. Their true intentions are becoming clearer! Next stop, a merger with Oldham Athletic to secure the services of Gerrard, Clarke and Croft. Once League status has been confirmed focus will turn to acquiring Higginbotham, Goburn, Novak and Robinson ("What? He's retired? Get throw some cash at him. Lots of cash. I'll make him a premiership player in 6 months"). THEN Clark can rid his demons of '12 season.

I notice the article says that Kilmarnock have agreed a compensation package with Bury but it didn't disclose how much Kilmarnock will have to pay

Nick am I missing something or is Lee Clark showing his true loyalty by jumping ship to a league 1 side mid season, half way through his job at Killy. It's Bury, not Wolfsburg.

It's like Town Old Boys there. Good luck Bury, I fear you'll need it. Wonder if he will make a bid for Clarkey at Oldham and pair him up with Kay. Doesn't say too much for Scottish Premiership football if he is leaving that to come back to Div 1 / Div 2. Good luck to him anyway.

Tbf to Bury they ooze in ex town players. Clark will get the best out of the likes of Anthony Kay.

His career is on a downward spiral, he can only get the shite jobs, but isn't then good enough to turn poor sides around, thus giving him access to better jobs. He'll end up managing in the Conference. His statement about having ambitions to manage in the Premier League is laughable. Lot's of enthusiasm but not much else.
