The shop was shut therefore they had to break in and steal. Worry that that type of attitude is so prevalent these days. As for bring back a 'terrace culture' I really hope football doesn't regress. We've come a long way to making it a family friendly game. A game we can bring our kids to and enjoy as a family. Wouldn't want to go back to the holligan 80s. Something else about it too is if any of these 'fans' happen to stand in the south stand from time to time or are wearing South Stand merchandise it will all be the 'NSL behave like that'. Time for fans to realise that their behaviour reflects on their peers and the club too. What's wrong with going and enjoying the game? It's okay Barbie, fans like Terriers321 just see it as a bit of fun, only throwing a bit of beer around. That's why Berty's Wife won't go away again, harmless fun it is. Maybe I'm just too old for this sh*t. But no way am I taking my young girls to an away day whilst it's like this ... which is such a shame

No go ahead and try your brilliant method mate. Crack them. Cause a full scale riot where innocent people genuinely will get hurt. At least then you'll have something to moan about rather than what ifs.

I have fucking had enough of this shit, every week reading about scrotes attaching themselves to the football Club we love and letting 98% of us down. Women, Kids feeling scared and not wanting to be anywhere near it and subsequently watching their beloved Huddersfield Town play!!??. What the fuck is going on. How about we start a pact, decent fans start dishing out slaps and other decent fans back them up when required. So throwing beer round and being lairy constitutes not being a decent fan but giving them a whack is fine. Try it next time mate. Your more than likely to cause a full scale brawl. And no, I wasn't there today. Don't really know how you can try to defend the absolutely appalling behaviour by a minority of our "fans" today, it was disgraceful. No, "whacking" them isn't the answer, but something needs to be done & pretty sharpish, it's only going to get worse.

Ollie when the bank of mum and dad runs dry and you get married have sprogs etc you will start realising that yr not the centre of the world.
The singing and jumping around is great btw. We need more of it. But throwing beer around and not giving a shit about those around u with kids etc is cuntish behaviour.
This is the best season I have known on and off the pitch but it's sad that some people have had their day spoilt today. Surely we want all town fans to have a good time and enjoy the rest of the season?

rochdale was bad enough - it's getting worse as they think they are clever, and funny...might take some of our 'seasoned' fans to sort it out..

As you say, it's a shame. The bigger shame for me is too many Town fans can't see anything other than 'harmless fun' which means this behaviour is set to stay, for quite some time and will only get worse.

What will happen is that it will go too far, the authorities will clamp down and the clubs responsible will be sanctioned and their reputations tarnished.

Blue on blue, not cool man. Genuinely not sure if he is blue. To be fair if they condone this sort of behaviour why don't they just follow a club like Leeds or Millwall. They're known for it and there probably won't be any complaints from decent folk with families at games. Just a thought?

The way I view it, what happened at half time is far from positive. It was a lot of reckless chanting and beer throwing that does not look good for the club. As for the theft of beer, this also is not good at all. On a side note they sort of brought it on themselves by refusing to serve at half time. That's asking for trouble. Ultimately, it was a fun day out for most and pre/post match was a throwback to a bygone era. We are trying to bring terrace culture back to football! The shop was shut therefore they had to break in and steal. Worrying that that type of attitude is so prevalent these days. As for bringing back a 'terrace culture' I really hope football doesn't regress. We've come a long way to making it a family friendly game. A game we can bring our kids to and enjoy as a family. Wouldn't want to go back to the holligan 80s. Something else about it too is if any of these 'fans' happen to stand in the south stand from time to time or are wearing South Stand merchandise it will all be the 'NSL behave like that' label from some. Time for fans to realise that their behaviour reflects on their peers and the club too. What's wrong with going and enjoying the game? Enjoying the game is not what they are there to do I'm afraid. It starts when they are getting ready to go out. Fantasising about it kicking off big time they have to choose an outfit. C.P Company Goggle hood jacket and Burberry cap or Stone island gear and Burberry cap? When that choice is made and they are out of the door, the massive amount of saliva in their mouth starts building up and requires spitting on the floor every 30 seconds. It's all part of the "I'm hard" act that they have to perform. Once they've met with their mates the swearing tick starts. Every other word is Fucking, no matter who is in earshot, Women, Children or elderly or if they are asked to Kurb the language. Getting in a fight, nicking like today or general hooliganism earns them valuable kudos from their mates. Get arrested and they get a huge pat on the back and really pushing their look with Police but escaping any sanction is hero worshipping Territory. That is what it's all about. It's a license to be as naughty as possible and get away with it. They have no interest in the game. They spend the whole 90 minutes trying to wind up the opposition fans in the hope their fantasies come true. Just utter Twats. It's a nasty side to football and one I have mainly associated with other clubs. I don't want it associated with my club. My club is not like that. We do things the right way. That video of today and stories of people being scared and frightened is disgusting. It is tainting a fantastic season for Town. Sadly if we do get to the promised land,I can only see it getting worse.

Possibly the oddest comment I've ever read on DATM. You need to read DATM more And you need to fully comprehend what's going on and what the majority of football fans want from a match day experience.

Oh so what? Weren't any of you lot young once? Has anyone got hurt? As well as bragging about the thefts on Facebook there's a few posts on the subject of an 11 year old boy being hit by a flying bottle and others similar. Yeah I was young once. Don't consider myself old at the moment. But I'm not a thief and really would like to think I'm a considerate lass and thinking of the welfare of those around me too.

It's our responsibility as fans representing the club to behave in a civilised manor, This behaviour will result in someone getting injured or someone pissing the wrong person off and a fight breaking out, We would piss our pants laughing if that happened at another club calling it embarrassing, If opposition fans came to Our ground and caused damage & broke stealing beer we would be seeking compensation, This will hurt the club financially and prop deans own pocket, Would most of you doing this carry on like that if the police were stood next to you or even Dean himself, It's embarrassing, This could also result in lower ticket amounts been available at away games if this carries on to try and minimise the poss of damage thus hurting all who want to attend. It's fine to sing and have a laugh but come on throwing beer about, breaking in, stealing beer and frightening our own supporters is not fun it's fucking stupid, For those of you at it one simple plea '' grow the fuck up '' you are damaging all the good work done so far this season on and off the pitch.

Would you rather everyone just sit still and not make any noise all game? I've been covered in ale many times watching time and been hit by things, its part an parcel of watching football. Okay, its bad that a young kid has been hit by a bottle, I don't agree with it, or condone it.
