Main worry for me is I just can't see where the goals are going to come from in the remaining games. How long since Wells or Kachunga last scored, and for that matter Brown. Can't keep winning games 1-0

First goal is always so important for us. We score so few, we can't gift teams a headstart which Hudson did.

I just hope there's no DATM meltdown over this. Maybe a combination of illness and players saving themselves for internationals has done us tonight. One thing for certain. Biling has been absolutely gash tonight. I feel so sad for those supporters who have made the journey. The players should pay them back for that garbage. I know DW couldn't have anticipated Hogg getting injured so early, but having Whitehead on the bench and bringing him on would've been a better option, surely? To be honest I'd have brought Billing on for Hogg as well and would never have considered Whitehead. The problem is sometimes Billing thinks he's a £10 million player but he plays like he's worth £50,000. Not his fault, off day all round from Smith to Mooy to Lowe and I'm afraid to say Hudson. We had to lose one game between now and the end of the season, but I didn't expect it to be this one.

hudson should never have been near the squad..
2 of my lot went to the gym instead of watching..
'if Hudson plays we will lose'...
notwithstanding the rest being akin to a very poor pub team, he stands alone in being totally and utterly out of his depth in this division..
not his fault, someone picks him over crainie...
billing unfortunately could go either way..
the whole evening looked like a team that thought they could get away with it.. they cant, they are not good enough..DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE..
No more flying to games, no more talk. get over this and start again by being a team of loanees and reasonable championship players who got a formula going and were doing well..
we flew in, we got changed, we got showered and flew home...we forgot about the football match in amongst all the bollox..

Looked as though City were playing with 12. Fitter, stronger, more determined, first to every loose ball, moved it quickly when the had it. 4-0 didn't flatter them, sadly, although they got the breaks for a couple of the goals. Need to take it on the chin and move on.

The whole team were poor, our touch was awful and we had no energy... I honestly think the illness has affected the squad. Some recovering and some coming down with it...?? If that's the case then 5% less energy is everything at this level.
Let's move on.. Other teams will relax about us again.
No need to over react to a one off game... 2 weeks rest is perfect.

when you watch it on replay - he runs out into no mans land with no chance of getting anywhere near the ball. if he had stayed on the line Fatty tomlin would have been pushed wide and ward could have narrowed his angle. Just saved us twice... first one a worldy! I am not a Ward knocker, trust me, just providing an opinion that wasnt just screaming for Hudsons head.the whole team was poor today, thats something we can surely all agree on.

lets be fair. they were all poor. what about mooy? he was shite again. Billing was dire. Tommy Smith was dire. We could go on and on. Our keeper for their first...
When does it stop? Who the fuck made those dodgy sarnies?

Congratulations, maybe you'll finish there for the first time in 56 years. However there's plenty of points left to play for yet my dog bothering little friend. Bet you can't wait for your no shots on target tomorrow... Yet again, we mean nothing to you and it's a one way rivalry. yet here you are. Again. 2-1. 1-0. Well we've scored more goals this season than the best footballing team in the league.

At this stage of the season games are must win for more teams than just us. They started well. We lost our main man. We gifted them a goal and they hit us on break with Points safe. It happens.
No need for endless over analysis and puzzlement over our performance.
We're on the end of a long run of exhausting games against a expensive and underperforming side who played well and were clinical
We could've got back into it at various stages but we didn't.
Another 3 points available next game.

Fair play Bristol - played well tonight, probably got the bounce a little more, but if they play a few more games like that they'll be out of danger before the end of the season.
As for us, poor game, all a little too off it. Did the Hogg injury unsettle them?
We still have 71 points, we still look up rather than below.
Let's hope they use this international break to get this out of their system and avoid being complacent when we pick up against Burton...
Their third goal was just quick thinking, that lad won't score another one of them in his career, 4th goal wasn't a penalty. We continue to suffer some poor do's in regards to spot kicks over the course of the season.
That's our third league game lost in 19 games since we lost to Wigan at home. Not too shabby...

I really don't get the hype about Billing. He has 1 good game out of 5. Half the time he spends strolling around doing absolutely nothing.

It's taken our first choice in form CB & first reserve cb to be out, our most important player to be involved in a worrying neck injury after 5 minutes, some high quality play and an utterly appalling pen, to beat us. No shame losing to anyone in this league. Let's see how Brighton get on at bell end before we throw in any autos towel. Every game now for all teams are tough, hard fought points. (Except maybe home to Rotherham). How many trials have we come through this season? We were GONE at one point. We'll re group now, have a rest & go again with the attacking style that has us a deserved & swashbuckling 3rd in the league... Even if we don't get auto we are the best of the rest and will prove it again in the play offs. In Wagner we trust. UTT God, i hope so. But after tonight's performance my confidence has dropped a lot. How will they be feeling? We've got a secret weapon over the other teams in the play offs though...David Wagner.

Need to take it on the chin and move on. We know we are as fit and as strong and technically better than any team in this league. We weren't up for it. Some heads in the wrong place tonight, but perhaps some going off to internationals might have affected their concentration levels , I don't know. Either that or they've all got Hefele's man flu.
