Tammy Abraham....20-odd goals for a relegation-threatened team. Wonder if we got the "wrong" Chelsea loanees?! With Tammy Abraham in our side we would be Top of this league by a country mile, we still struggle to score goals and at 2 - 0 down its game over. This will be Town's downfall this season 😐😎😎😐

I think folk forget despite the possession, we don't make half as many clear cut chances for our strikers this season than we have done in the past.
Rhodes has hardly been the answer for Wednesday despite his scorers instinct, just because a striker is scoring goals at one club doesn't mean he would for every club - Just ask Villa and the plethora of strikers they've tried this season.

It wasn't that we beat you it's that you gave it your best and you couldn't get anywhere near us. It was men against boys. Both games. You've got one player who'd get in a composite side (side selected from both squads) Wood. You've been effective with him and ground out some good wins but you're no match for us this year. You lot accuse Leeds fans of being deluded yet you're having a decent season for the first time in god knows how long and suddenly you all think you're like Pele's Brazil. So Charlie Taylor who numerous premier league clubs are chasing wouldn't get in your squad? I wouldn't swap Janson or Bartley to name another two. Our main problem this season is that our squad just isn't big enough, we don't have backup in almost all positions so its pretty amazing how well Monk has managed the team this year. Almost all Leeds fans I know never expected us to be anywhere near the play offs, the main aim was to get rid of Cellino which is almost certainly happening before next season. It' also the reason more investment wasn't made in January. You've gotten extremely lucky with the loan signings all clicking and you do have some quality ones no doubt. But if you fail to reach the promised land I doubt any will be still there come next season. It's to be hoped for you sakes that you do go up because you won't ever get a better chance. Fuck off back to your crack den.

good luck to him, they managed to play us at a very 'shit' time(literally).. over 46 games they were bound to get a couple of the games at the right time..(see Wigan for details or Blackburn)... no excuse for the Fulham showing but Bristol can be written off..

How did Wagner not win that for beating Brighton and Leeds in the space of 4 days, especially given the manner of the Brighton win?

Nobody likes us, we don't care....and tbh these plaudits are just distractions from the main purpose, they serve only to inspire the next opponents.

Wasn't it a different week? Thursday then Sunday? Doubt it. Don't understand - am I missing something? Wasn't Johnson's award for the week in which they beat Town, which is a different week from the week we beat Brighton and Leeds? It wasn't performance of the week, of the season?

I don't get what you're trying to say. Johnson got performance of the week for that week. My point was it was a joke how Wagner didn't for the week we beat Brighton and Leeds. As someone else pointed out, that performance against Brighton should have been enough on its own.

Maybe relative league positions swayed it?

Monk for his theatrics and Jansen for his world record dash when kerchunga was after him 😁
