looking at the Dortmund pitch on TV ..where the ball rolls nicely over an even surface..our pitch at the JSS is awful, the ball bobbles over the surface in all areas of the pitch...not ideal..for our style of play.

Prob lost valuable points through it ? I can't think of any to date? Might help Preston though as they like the ball in the air a lot. That Barkcusian looks a bit special though and I think he likes a dribble.

To be fair I thought the pitch looked much improved against Norwich.

To be fair I thought the pitch looked much improved against Norwich. it still bobbled over the surface...Schindler was playing it out to Lowe and the ball was all over the place...tbh, it's a disgrace considering the money it cost and the attention it gets from full time staff...

To be fair I thought the pitch looked much improved against Norwich. It hadn't had a game on for 2 weeks. I suspect it will be worse on Friday again, which Preston won't be disappointed about.

Considering what Dean Hoyle has spent on the lighting rigs i'd expect it to be even better come Friday. We'll see.

The lights have made it green again and it looked good from my seat however it seems very uneven when the ball boobles all over the place. Not sure there is anything that can sort it aswell during season

Maybe a slight exaggeration but that smith shank out of play highlighted it

Pitch looked ok to me and certainly wasn't a " right mess" . Typical Nick over reaction. Yes, you could see where the rugby markings had been blacked out (not ridges) but to say it was a right mess was silly. Well done to the ground staff for getting it in good order so soon after it had been played on, and well done Dean Hoyle for funding the lighting rigs, they worked.
