You've rested all your players for 2 to 3 weeks now . We've only had chance to rest some today. We've not had a great season really but have found some form in the last 6 games to get into the play offs.
I saw that neil warnock was telling wagner how to beat us today yet he's not achieved it this season ?
We are the underdogs imo.
Only 2k coming to Hillsborough means we can help you in the away end.
You have to do it this season because next season all your players will be off so the pressure is on you guys dispite wagner saying we have to go up this year?...actually David..ER we don't, we have a top manager and top chairman who knows what they are doing.
What will be will be .

All I want is a bit of right reffing wise against this lot, then we may just have a chance.
If it ain't us, I hope it's Fulham that go up, the best side I have seen this season.
Wednesday are like Derby, throwing money (and shitloads of it at that) at trying to get out of the division. For the good of football, Clubs like this need to not succeed.
Proper Clubs like Brighton, I am pleased for.

You sound like a right bitter person, wagner has done well for you and imo you have to be under pressure to take this once in a lifetime opportunity for Huddersfield to go up because if you don't he will be gone and so will all your loans. If we don't make it we'll just have another pop at it . It's exciting!!

The never ending key decisions you get reffing wise against us only adds to that. Pressure?, us, we have overachieved. This is a bonus that we have got a pop at it. A bonus. Where as for you, there is expectation. All that money spent to get promotion and anything less is failure. And we haven't gone out and bought every Striker that comes on the market. Your strikers alone will earn more than our entire first Team squad. You have gambled to get promoted an expensive gamble at that. It might pay off for you. I personallly though like Clubs who have been shrewd to get success. It's a far greater achievement than buying it.

You've got a lot riding on this because should you fail wagner will go along with half your squad. Crossroads. Should we fail...we go again just like last season.

I agree we will have loan Players leave. But said loan Players have thrived at our Club so what do you think that means?. It means there are more where they came from as ours is a good environment to develop as a Player and the top Clubs want their prospects to play at Clubs like ours. Don't get me started re the decisions you get against us. We are though due a key one. You need to go up, we don't. How many seasons will you throw money at it before the money drys up?. The answer to that maybe never. I think though the signs are there at Derby that they can't just carry on relying on spending to get to the greedy league. The difference between our Clubs is one has brass and the other has class. On and off the pitch.

Not spent much? I'd love to see your wage bill. I bet you're paying out more to Rhodes, Fletcher and Hooper than we are to our starting 11

No way on earth are we favourites. Fulham, then Wednesday, then Reading, then us.
Pressure on us? No. If we go up, great - if not, we've overachieved & a mid-table finish next season will still be a good result.
Our loans will leave? Well, yes. That's what happens when a loan period expires.
Wagner will leave? Probably. He's too good not to be managing in the top division, be that here, Germany or elsewhere. He deserves a crack at the big time & he'll get one. I just hope he stays here for as long as possible before that happens.
Yes, this is the best chance at promotion to the top flight in nearly half a century & if we don't make it, probably the best chance for a few years after. But then, we're not a MASSIVE club that expects to be there. We're a small club even for the Championship.
If you do go up, good luck for next season - but I can't wish you luck for this season, for obvious reasons.

Sky Bet Championship Promotion 16/17 - Promotion Fulham 7/4 Sheffield Wednesday 9/4 Huddersfield 3/1 Reading 5/1
There you go - argument settled. Might have a cheeky tenner on Reading at that price.

Wednesday are the underdogs - lol.
You've obviously come on here for a bit of a bite and to go back on the Wednesday forum and describe how hated you are to fill your fans weird delusions.
I can understand the bitterness as on a national level Sheffield is barely even an after thought of a place despite its population, constantly being over shadowed by Leeds as a city as is the generally impoverished South Yorkshire by the more prosperous West Yorkshire. Same with the football teams. They attract decent crowds but outside of South Yorkshire nobody gives them that attention they crave.
All the pressures on you. Most your fans think you are in the final already.
The reason for some negativity on here is not because of how good you are or that we are afraid of playing you, it's because of how poor we have been recently. If we play like we can we will beat you.

I think that the two teams approach this from very different viewpoints. For Town this season has been a success beyond our wildest imagination. Getting to a play off final would be an outstanding achievement with the resources at our disposal - winning would be unbelievable. For Massive anything but winning the play off final and its another season of failure.

Why do some Town fans do that? I can just imagine as Jimmymac starts up with a WE'RE THE GREATEST TEAM IN FOOTBALL - there are a few quiet voices stood behind him going 'well we're not that great, No Tristan we're probably below average. We probably don't deserve to be here at The Pirelli Stadium... Shall we go? Yes, Let's - lets zip our tops up and pull up our hoods to hide the shame of it all'.

Would love to see how much much Owls have chucked at trying to get out of this League since they were last in the Greedy League. Millions upon millions upon millions. Never mind th "not spent much this season" tripe, with Rhodes alone costing more than we've spent in the past five or six seasons put together. Tosser

Mr Pig, we've no chance. That ship sailed about the time we lost away 4-0 to Bristol City, had we played the play offs about the time we dismantled Brighton 3-1 we might have had the slimmest of hope.
Now all hope has been abandoned. We will turn up and try give you a decent couple of games, but you can report back to your lot that it's as good as finished, and you can start booking them Wembley trains right now.

Nice attempt at mind games.
With our form since we beat Reading (5 wins, 2 draws, 7 defeats) and our record against you this season plus your recent form and your vast choice of attacking options, nobody with any common sense will have Wednesday as underdogs. The only time you might be underdogs is if we win the first leg by 2 or 3 goals.

its two games of football.. we have not hit a barn door with a banjo from 2 paces for most of it, we have weeks where we look like the bank of england at the back and the next like a leaking sieve..
games where we run the opposition to a standstill chasing the ball and weeks where we give em the ball outside our own box for free..
mooy looks like a top premier player coasting through and running games and then he looks tired, slow and lacking any ideas..
X the above by another 5 or 6 and you have us in a nutshell.
The only obvious problem you will have is if the first 11 turns up twice in a row and does the good without the bad.. We wont win if we dont and therefore our chances percentage wise are less but the 'chance' is always there..
Its a play off and the fact is both teams have 'won' enough games using various and often quite different approaches to obtain them.
You expected to be here or even higher we didnt(at the start and were told regularly the bubble would burst). The money you have spent is counting on promotion now(please dont insult everyones intelligence by denying it)...
Pressure is key, it could work for you as much as against you..
