I'm glad we didn't try to defend from the first whistle for 10 minutes it was a good contest. Individual errors cost us and there were more Lossl got out of jail for his, catching the ball with his standing foot and presenting them with a golden opportunity. I loved the way we attacked and pressed from the start but for some reason we seemed really nervous players were making untypical errors all over the park. Whilst Kane's second was a brilliant goal - I can't recall our best defender Schindler affording any striker so much space to turn away from him. I really think we were in awe of them and whilst our tactics were to take the game to them, I think our team not only afforded them too much respect but were waiting for Spurs to show their class. I don't really ever want us to start defensively at home even to Man U and City, Chelsea, etc. - Call it naive but if we nick the first goal whilst pressing it will be an interesting spectacle rather than a boring let's see if we can scrape a draw by frustrating the away team on our patch - we can surely do that away at the top six but at least give it a go at home. This. If parking the bus and twatting the ball to a big lump really is the only way to survive then I'll carry on sticking to our philosophy and go back down thanks.

Pen not even mentioned on MOTD. Apologies, several days late, but it was mentioned on MOTD. They didn't go into great depth, but that's because we were playing Spurs. To be fair, from my seat in the Kilner Bank, I thought Kachunga had dived, he hadn't, it was a clear penalty - UTT.

I'm more than happy for us to park the bus so to say away at the big 6 and try and nick something, but when we are at home, we should definitely have a go against everybody, especially with our crowd behind them, anything can happen! For 32 of the 38 games, stick to how we play, the big 6 away, be solid and try and nick a valuable point, maybe even close up shop for an hour, and if its all square, then go for it for the remaining half an hour!

Having just seen it on MOTD that was a definite penalty for us on Kachunga as he got shoved/barged from behind. Very similar to the Arsenal penalty that was given earlier in the week. I've looked about on youtube, can't see it - does anyone have the 'penalty' clip ? Thanks.
