That's great. Hopefully then, nobody will be sniffing around Schindler and Zanka, as well as pushing the price up on Kongolo.

To paraphrase David Lloyd, if Lewis Dunk is a better centre-half than Schindler then my backside is a fire engine. I don't know why I'm getting annoyed, it's only Garth Crooks, the guy is fucking clueless

The BBC 'Team of the Season' selector allows you to choose Lössl, but not Schindler, Hogg or Zanka. Shows the media's poor knowledge about us, really.

"Forced Flo to panic" ! Ok, he faintly touched him, but it was a blatant dive by Rose. Time to get rid of Crooks so called 'Team (aka my select few) of the week'... the guys a joke!

Snidey condescending fat fuck, makes paying your license fee in return for this bilge genuinely galling. He's unnecessarily stuck the knife into us 2 weeks running now like our presence is ruining his Premier League experience. In reality I doubt the prick has even watched our shabbily edited MOTD highlights, never mind a full game.
In a sea of wank punditry he manages to make some of them look passable. Binning him would be racist though, so he'll survive for as long as he wants the gig despite his knowledge of modern football fitting on the back of a fucking stamp.

Town should use Crooks words as motivation in the same way we did with Ian Halloway in 2016/17 Here's what he's said in his column this week - www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45699519 "However, the harsh truth is that Huddersfield are out of their depth and soon to be out of the league"

His Danny Rose comments are bizarre but his bit in reference to Harry Kane is galling...maybe Wagner should highlight comments like these to the players to help motivate them that bit more. He may well be right but is there any need after seven games of the season!!
Harry Kane: I still think Harry looks a little jaded from his exploits in the summer, but two goals and three points against Huddersfield will make him feel a whole lot better. There cannot be a better penalty-taker in the league. He absolutely rattled his spot-kick past Jonas Lossl. However, the harsh truth is that Huddersfield are out of their depth and soon to be out of the league.

Fans of most PL clubs will have issues with him if he doesn’t praise their team, but I think his job is to pander to football fans in general. If you took a poll of football fans around the country, the majority would have us down. However, chippy Town fans see this as an insult. I see nothing wrong in him putting opinions in writing, which are in the thoughts of most fans

As annoying as they are I can understand talksport etc employing wind up merchants to generate noise and therefore callers and ad revenue. I can't understand for the life of me why a public funded organisation is doing the same thing with the likes of Crooks and Savage. Arrogance permeates through the vast majority of BBC sport staff and they seem completely unacountable to anyone. Yes we are fairly crap, but given the finances, infastructure and 45 years away its not surprising is it. Yet they'd still rather stick the knife in than praise a well run club for doing their best whilst living within their means. Then you have grade A wankers like Lineker declaring how refreshing it is for a championship team to come up and have a go. They spent £100m+ of chinese money and have an agent engineering vastly underpriced transfers for international footballers you prat!

My problem with Garth Crooks is the institutionalised London-centric, southern-centric bias of the media.
I realise most of it is based in London so I realise how it is a passive rather than proactive thing.
Compare us to the coverage which Brighton get. Over the last two seasons, pointwise, player quality, results; both clubs are very similar. Even this year just that great Man Utd win for them is the difference.
Yet, in the media/Garth Crooks, 'Brighton grest club, great manager will have enough to stay up, no problems'.... Town 'out of their depth going down'.
Thats what makes me annoyed with this useless pundits. Don't do any work with a video life in London and no interest in anything 50 miles beyond the capital.

You do wonder if the game yesterday had been played on Sat with same result if he would have had the vitriol for Cardiff. Ince will use any opportunity to slag us as well now we've offloaded his precious offspring.

I said in the summer when Tom left, I fully expect papa Ince to stick the boot in at some point on 'behalf' of his lad, when i doubt Tom would have a bad word to say about his time here.

Constant fake arguments and 'banter' we didn't use to get when say Jimmy Armfield was on. Chris Sutton being a prime example. Deliberate wind up bollocks, Mark Chapman who I used to have respect for, joining in. Its not in the slightest amusing and shows total disrespect to the clubs and fans. I presume the BBC feel they have to follow the whole shit show that is Talk sport to compete. It pisses me off no end, but it is obviously what the majority of people want.
Garth Crooks however has always talked out of his arse and always will. Not worth bothering about.

I think this is probably the factor here. In this league, those of us who go to games week in week out are freaks. The average premier league football fan watches sky sports, buys a shirt and loosely attaches themselves to a top 6 club whilst declaring themselves the worlds biggest Man U/Liverpool fan on twitter/facebook. We all know them - People who like football, watch sky sports, whitter on about Ronaldo and Messi but havent been to a live game in eons if ever. Football is their soap opera and drama, hype and banter go hand in hand with that. The constant need to generate headlines and fill websites feeds these people. Its partly the reason we arent welcome, we're crap to watch for neutrals and we're too well run to generate any drama or headlines either so we create no discussion. Newcastle are just as crap to watch but there's always drama to report on.

Some guys at work here in Leeds, are the Man U and Liverpool types who have no connection to either place and never go except maybe on some guided tour. They stand around talking about it to each other, you here them, wanting managers sacked hoping the go for so and so player. They know I am Town fan, they know I actually go, yet they never ever discuss football with me or even acknowledge the games against the teams they 'support'. Give me the arrogant Leeds fan who is there every week, who comments on our games, who knows our score every Monday over these absolute cocks anyday.

Did Garth mention their player (Spurs) walking into ours deliberately to knock him over just inside the penalty area ?
