With West Ham seeming to lineup as a 433, I would go with the same system. 3511. We matched up well against a Liverpool playing the same thing.

Hopefully their widemen will be too busy chasing back after our wingbacks in the opposite direction. I thought the key player was Lanzini for them last year and he's still got an ACL injury. They had 3 CM's against Mooy and Hogg too which won't be the case this year and our full backs were Smith and Malone so I'm hoping Lowe and Durm can improve us this year. Lowe looks a different player in a back 5 with Kongolo just inside him.
If they still have Zabaleta in their back line then maybe Mbenza or Diakhaby should start and burn HIM for pace numerous times. Talk about team bonding

Always a good game v West Ham and still the best game i have ever seen being the early 70s F A Cup which we won 4-2
Seem to remember the miners strike caused a black out on tv which prevented the game being shown on Yorkshire tv big match.
Still to see the highlights of this amazing game after all this time ,but must still be somewhere in Y T archives
The late 60s league cup win was also a good game ,and seem to remember that amazing long range shot going in off the underside of the bar
Proper pies in them days

Since then we played a league cup match that no one cared about, which we lost, and a league game which we got dicked 4-1

My sisters mate who was only fifteen got hit on the head with a fire brick that some Cockney moron threw in to the crown in the Cowshed, it fractured her skull and the Town fans who saw what happened were having to be held back by the old bill.

One things for sure, we owe em after basically not bothering to turn up neither down at theirs nor at home last season. Big performance needed this Saturday but we have the players & confidence will be up following the win against Fulham.

The FA Cup game in the 60s was like that too - where the World Cup three were playing and they dicked us, but somehow the score was only 0 - 2. Loads of aggro after the game. We had a mate who was a L666s supporter and wore his blue and white - with the yellow stripe in it, for Christ's sake. He was singled out, unsurprisingly, and fortunately he had it nicked or otherwise, I doubt he would have made it past 5:30 pm. EDIT: Yeah, looked that one up for nostalgia reasons and found that our overall record against them is excellent. Come on lads, let's add to that: www.11v11.com/teams/huddersfield-town/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/West%20Ham%20United/

My uncle got chucked out of the cowshed 3 times that game,someone had put a step ladder against wall at back of cowshed and cockneys and town were lined up to go back in. Very English! My old man said there was a hammer on a chain been thrown around the shed all game. Very mental! Round the bend!

Arnie is fit as expected according to Pellegrini One of the best players I saw last season, a job for Terrence methinks and a challenge he will hopefully relish.

Not sure if hes changed as person or what, but I cannot for the life of me fathom why nobody ever played him up front for an extended run before last year! must be a few managers kicking themselves! Since going up front just under a year ago - P27 Scored 16 Assists 7 saying that I think you may be starting to turn a corner, wouldn't be disappointed with a draw!

I’d go
Lossl Zanka Schindler Kongolo Durm Loewe Mooy Hogg Billing Mbenza Mounié
We need some pace and we need to persevere with Mbenza, get him running off and beyond Mounié and stretching their defence.

Thinking outside the box now, though it will never happen, i would like to see Pritchard in place of Mbenza and Mbenza up front. I know there is no way Wagner will not play one of Mounie or Depoitre but it is worth a punt for me. Yes i know the shot was shocking on Monday night.

Sorry boys but Arnie will most definitely be playing. I think you’ll struggle against us with our pace on the wings. Personally I like Huddersfield an honest working town club. Other than the 6 points I hope we take from you lot I wish you well for the rest of the season. I’ve a feeling it’ll be a tough and long one. WH now have a great manager transforming their team. You’ll do well this season and almost certainly beat us.

Hope;
Lossl Schindler Zanka Kongolo Durm Mooy Billing Lowe Pritchard Mounie Diakhaby
Expect;
Lossl Schindler Zanka Kongolo Flo Mooy Hogg Billing Lowe Pritchard Depoitre
I see Saturday panning out as follows. 2-1 Town. Billing rocket midway through the first. Depoitre with a scrappy second from a set piece melee. Arnautovic with a late (but probably brilliant) consolation for West Ham. I miss all three goals for stupid reasons like sneezing or a facility visit. Out of the bottom 3 never to return again this season. Home to a pot of beef stew put on that morning and to hear all about how Barnsley looked Premier league quality from Mrs Froggy after they destroy Notts County in the FA cup. I laugh and am thusly blue balled.

Bringing my brother in law up for this one. First home game for me in a while due to personal reasons.
Odd question to put on here but thought I'd definitely get a reply, what's the best way to get in at the Magic Rock before a game? Do they check season tickets? I've had some tap rooms elsewhere do this and as my brother in law is an aussie, he is sans season ticket.
Probably a daft question, but if anyone on here does it regularly, I'd appreciate the advice.

I'd do this, but keep Pritchard in over Mbenza. Bring Mbenza on around 70/75 minutes and use his speed against tiring legs.

Individual errors, did for us last year. West Ham were very nervous, until they scored, they are flaky & beatable. We really need to get behind the lads again & raise the volume, Monday's support was excellent. We can do this - UTT.

Just get there early otherwise you'll be the queue and its a 1 in 1 out policy.
