Again, apologies if we've already started one somewhere, couldn't find it.
Is Noble still suspended for them?

Yes
Arnie missing 2 days training, could be a doubt

That would be a huge boost if Arnautović wasn’t playing, we couldn’t deal with him last year.

Yes Arnie missing 2 days training, could be a doubt I think he's been carrying a knee injury for a good few weeks now, maybe they're just limiting his workload in training?

I remember saying at HT last season that Schindler had Arnautovic in his pocket !! How mistaken was I ?? !

He destroyed us in the first 15 minutes of the second half of that 4-1 defeat last season. I'd be very happy to see him missing this Saturday.

Their front 3 looked lethal against Burnley
This is a game where we definitely need to play 3 centre backs and two wing backs otherwise they'll tear us to bits

Same team bar Durm for Flo if he’s fit.
Huge boost for us if Arnautovic is out.

Sorry boys but Arnie will most definitely be playing. I think you’ll struggle against us with our pace on the wings. Personally I like Huddersfield an honest working town club. Other than the 6 points I hope we take from you lot I wish you well for the rest of the season. I’ve a feeling it’ll be a tough and long one.

Thanks for the heads up......groundstaff will ensure the wings are flooded with water so very wet, heavy and soggy for Saturday!

Hopefully their widemen will be too busy chasing back after our wingbacks in the opposite direction.
I thought the key player was Lanzini for them last year and he's still got an ACL injury.
They had 3 CM's against Mooy and Hogg too which won't be the case this year and our full backs were Smith and Malone so I'm hoping Lowe and Durm can improve us this year.
Lowe looks a different player in a back 5 with Kongolo just inside him.
If they still have Zabaleta in their back line then maybe Mbenza or Diakhaby should start and burn HIM for pace numerous times.

In all fairness Hogg has got more chance of rattling Rachel Riley than the woodwork again.

Isn't billing suspended for 5 yellows. When watched game back last night it showed him booked with the 5 next to his name. If he is do we go with Bacuna or bring Pritchard back and stick mbenza ,diakhaby In the hole hoping to utilise their pace Or kachunga in the 10.

Mbenza kicked/tapped the ball away and got a needless/harsh yellow following a foul by Billing that went un-booked. Easy to see why the TV boys thought it was Billing as they both looked peeved and were stood close by.

That would be a huge boost if Arnautović wasn’t playing, we couldn’t deal with him last year. Other than Spurs at home last season I thought West Ham were terrific although maybe Wagner wasn't on his game that day. Best player I saw last year was Erikson but I thought Arnie & Lanzini were brilliant. Noble had a very good game as well so at least 2 of them not playing.

Good news on Billing then. Wont belong before he picks up another yellow and has to sit one out. I would like to see Williams back in the team, probably bring him on to shore midfield up if were hanging on for a result. Not sure Bacuna is anywhere near ready for this level. Also would like to see Sohbi get a run out off the Subs bench as I think he is going to be the best of the three wingers but needs to get fit and focussed. If im wrong i'll hold my hands up , but the few glimpses he's shown in the cameos have been promising. We need someone to be a hero up top and that remains the big problem. ''Hero required in January transfer window. Good rates of pay and top atmosphere. Non - goalscorers with poor strike rates need not apply...'' UTT

would expect our line-up to be
Fabianski
Zabaleta Cresswell Diop Balbeuena
Rice Obiang Snodgrass
Diangana Arnautovic Anderson
the two youngsters have been outstanding of late, Rice has had Soutgate apparently tell him he goes straight in the England side rather than squad should he choose to play for us (a fair distance better than Dier even now so I can see that), Jamie Redknapp was comparing him to and naming as an ideal replacement for Fernadinho at Man City at the weekend he's been that good
Diangana juts loves to get the ball down and take people on, him Arnie and Anderson who was out of this world last week look a real threat
Though as mentioned above we do remain inconsistent, produced a great display last week in the most one sided 4-2 you could ever see, 6-2 would have been a fairer reflection so will probably be rubbish this week

He was one of those that could have gone either way. Big time charlie who could just take a good wage and piss about on the pitch, or the alternative which he seems to have done, knuckle down, play football and earn the wage. If Anderson, Arnautovic and Rice are on song i can only see a West Ham win due to your greater quality, however it wont be easy for you if we show the same commitment we have recently. Heart says a Town win, my head says West Ham 2-0.

I don’t think any West Ham fan ever imagines any game is easy. We’ve seen our bubble bust way way too often to ever get cocky. I do though feel happier as a West Ham Fan that I have done since the 80’s. We really are starting to play football the way we like to watch it. Let’s hope it’s a decent game and they play with the ball on the grass and not above it.

Mr Automatic whatever was difference at home last season we couldnt cope with him. Feel much more positve after we really fought and played well against Fulham , hopefully our luck is changing and we will start finding the net. M

I fancy Mounie to score on Saturday, despite the criticism he got on Monday I thought he did well.
Interesting to hear he took it upon himself to deliver a motivational speech to his team mates ahead of Fulham. Kind of goes against the view by some on here that he's lazy and uninterested. Sometimes a players style can give the wrong impression.
