Thats the dream over today. To say 'we had to win' i.m mot sure what some of the players were doing. Stupid flicks, slow movement, slow passing, No attempts at making a killer pass. Crossing was pathetic yet again. How many times did we have the opportunity to break quickly with Cardiff players high up the pitch, yet we chose to slow the game down and let them get back in shape. Disappointed. Extremely disappointing to read this summing up. We keep on repeating the same mistakes week in, week out, with no let up. Are we resigned to this being how we will set up and play for the rest of the season cos if it is, folk will start dropping off in droves. Really glad I chose to listen on the radio today rather than watch it on a stream.

Can anyone recall a PL game when a Ref has given a penalty and then been overruled by a Linesman? It could only happen to us this season..

Ive only missed Wolves away (what a mistake that was) and while i think we've played some good stuff at times, we've not picked up points when we have played well, so there is little chance of us getting much when we don't play well. Mooy is a massive miss for me, the only player with real guile / poise. Thought Puncheon showed well today, but there was nobody making a positive run him to pick out. Summed up when he ran right across the field from right to left desparate to to find someone, but nobody with the skill or will to make a darting run. Some long travels coming up, not sure people will continue to travel with such dire performances

No positives from today. Performances don’t really matter at this stage, we need results. Yeah, it should have been a penalty but we had two shots on target all game. Can’t keep on blaming referees and bad luck. If it wasnt already confirmed before today, it is now. Curtains. Pull yourself together!

One point may not be great, but it's a start, like Sean Morrison said 'we played with less pressure', so now we have 4 tough games (3 at home) before a 2 week break in Feb, so roll up your sleeves take off those pathetic gloves (mitts) & go out get some of the win bonus you all signed up too....lets go down fighting FFS!! UTT.

More disappointed in that some of our fans have thrown the towel in and seem to prefer being 100% objective about games nowadays...
Supporting a football team is about blind loyalty and expecting the odd decision to go against you but having an occasional one go for you. It allows your passion to drive a bit of subjective behaviour in those instances.
That penalty/not penalty today was like a double kick in the bollocks for the fans and the players. One minute you have a glimmer of hope that this could be the spark we've needed (& in some respects earned and deserved), 30 seconds later it's ripped out of your hands by some questionable officials who've clearly bowed to player pressure...
Can't believe some of you support Town, you act ad though you're at work...

This was the eighth Premier League match in which Huddersfield had as much as 60% possession - they have won none of those games (won none, drew three, lost five). And.....?? Are you saying we would be better off having less possession or...? Why are you saying "Huddersfield" instead of "we"? Do I sniff a cut and paste? BBC website....just highlighting how shite we are. Better team...cant convert.

The Bury thing keeps appearing...its like a comfort blanket to a dribbling kid. No it's not, it's used an example of how you frequently talk complete and utter sh*8te (as do we all on occasions). ....but you are so f*****g arrogant, you fail to see this and continue to make ludicrous boasts like "I've never been wrong about a player". Let me tell you a little about "shite"..... Billing. His run in the team coinciding with the worst run in our history. Another poor game, another invisible game when it mattered, another game of walking everywhere and mostly head down and not communicating with team-mates. Another surly wannabee with an attitude problem. Talent he is a 9/10...application he is still in bed at 1pm. You seen me shouting the odds about a player this last two years bar Mooy? Thats because we dont have any Prem players. Certainly not Lossl, Lowe, Smith, Zanka, Pritchard, Mounie, De Poitre or Billing. Kongolo is not the best on it but is class....Schindler reads the game ever so well despite his footballing limitations. Thats it. Not seen a side step followed by a shot all season...what i have seen is a load of robots shoe-horned in to "passenancio" without the probing. 40 back passes to Lossl v Fulham...the worst team in the division. A game where evey second pass should have been forward. Wagner goes on about Terrier spirit...the only dog is his DOGmatism.

Literally less effective than Tom Ince

Oti, some of your posts are ok and agree with some of the points you make occasionally.
However most of your stuff can be summed up as I told you so, I've seen (& often done) this all before blah blah. Do you have a condition that has to see you proven right all the time and you'll battle to the nth degree and with utterly flawed logic until your opponent just gives up?
We all know we're short of the mark this season, but I think the best way for you to tackle this is to stick your CV under the nose of Dean Hoyle and we can look forward to a golden future if he does the right thing in taking you on in some sort of coaching role...
You're divisive at the best of times, but like a few others on here you're part of the problem that sows the seeds of discontent among the fans.
Billing needs Mooy, he's struggling to compensate for that loss, as are many others. Pritchard yesterday was over compensating and trying too hard, he had the proverbial shocker really. But none of those players go out there other than with the intention to win the game and put the max effort in. We were the better side in that game but yet again were undone by our woeful lack of goals.
Do people think this isn't frustrating the players & mgmt as well as us? Do they think they don't practice and work on what they think the problem is?
Believe it or not Oti, I partly agree with the point about DW being dogmatic, but in reality that single mindedness brought us to this place. He could have tinkered in the early days and when we had that dip in the promotion season (like many Mgrs would have done), but he didn't. I don't think he's being dogmatic in our current situation, I think we've a Mgr scratching his head and working hard to get it right & tweaking minor things because that's how most successful organisations work.
We look just now, like a team in transition & in our current league position that's not good. If we pull it round we'll get the hollow plaudits from the pundits, but if, as looks likely, we get relegated, then we need a Mgr with the style of DW to ensure we don't go into freefall.
Too many back seat drivers who moan like feck (stirred up by the shithouse element of sports journalists) and give those journeyman Mgrs some sort of valid excuse to blame others for the demise of the team they manage...
I know you and many others on here are just very flat & pissed off, but let's try to put the pitchforks and the need to satisfy yourself in your own minds that "I'm right, DW is wrong" to one side and pull together, because if we do pull it out the bag, it's going to the wire...

Did you get the bathroom ceiling done? Yes mate. Def made the right choice this afternoon. It didn’t sound great listening on the radio. Problem is Willo, you only did the bathroom yesterday - you've got some big rooms coming up in the next few weeks and it's only after those that we'll find out if you're PL or Championship. If you'd invested smarter in the summer (Al Murad not Homebase) then you be using 2 rollers instead of brushes and I reckon you'd be safe now. Don't get me wrong - I'm still behind you - it's not time for Mrs Willo to get rid yet - UTW!

MOTD highlights summed it up
Quite a few saying how well we played and that we dominated the game. Yet they had just as many attacking highlights (Or should that be lowlights) from the little possession they had
A decent shot from distance, a weak blocked effort from Kachunga and a header from 18 yards.

I would describe yesterdays performance as " town being allowed to sleep walk into relegation " simply because we would have pissed that game had we bought in a quality experienced premier league quality striker before now .
Sadly " YET AGAIN " no end product
Rare to see a linesman get involved in anything but offside decisions ,and had an idea of the outcome when their players took the ref over to him
This is because our luck seems well and truly out
This was yet another vital 3 points dropped , and cannot see the point in turning up if we dont bring in another striker/s ,maybe on loan wIth an end of season contract
I was trying to work out if Cardiff were shit or town were good ,and came to the conclusion that it was abit of both.
Town silenced the Cardiff crowd who had little or nothing to sing about from start to finish ,and the town fans behind that goal were exceptional from start to finish
I am wondering now if funds might be better used on players to give us a better chance of coming straight back up instead of spending silly money trying to avoid relegation

It’s not a conspiracy but gamesmanship plays a massive part and weak people can be influenced - like today I suspect Warnock gives linos pelters all the time - Warnock calls for the introduction of VAR, as a result of being denied a penalty! What a complete twat he is, cue the response from Colin lovers!
