Hi all
Away fan coming in peace!
First trip to your stadium tomorrow, just wondered if someone was able to recommend parking spots ? Preferable somewhere can get away quickly after the game.
Thanks, let’s hope for a good game tomorrow!
Neil

Any of the main carparks in the town centre are fine as the stadium is only a 10-minute walk away. Staying the Manchester side of Town will give you a bit of a longer walk but an easier get-away. As is usual; the nearer the stadium you go, the more difficult it is to park and the more queues you will be sat in at the end!

It's a Yorkshire cake made using oats & treacle usually eaten around Bonfire night. Hope that helps

Fitzwilliam Street up by Irish Centre usually ok Also that puts you right next to the very fine Sportsman pub which serves proper beer but gets packed as well as being just a hop, step and a jump to the Magic Rock... and / or Slubbers

Hi...i'm guessing you are coming via the M62. If you are having a beer then The Slubbers on Halifax Old Rd/Willow Lane, is a decent pub with free street parking around and on the motorway side of Huddersfield.....it's about 15 minute walk to the ground but fairly easy to get away from after the game. You would have to get there at least one hour before kick off to make sure of a space and probably nearer to 75 mins,12.15 ish tomorrow would do it.

Thanks, let’s hope for a good game tomorrow! Neil Basically anywhere in the Town centre. Drive around for five mins and you'll either find a space, or someone just pulling out of one (£1 all day Sundays) (10-15 mins walking to the ground)..

Don't take the gamble of the B&Q retail park next to the ground, I've seen plenty of cars with tickets on them after the game.

Or go down to Jn25 and come off at Brighouse, come in on Leeds Road via Cooper Bridge. Good few spots by the old ICI, I think lots park in the sports centre more or less opposite, doesn't seem to be problems with that. A nice 15 minute stroll to the stadium, and if you leave on 85 mins when you're 3-0 down you'll get away nice and easy!

Wouldn't try and get any closer than the town centre. 15 minute walk and easy get away, although it will be empty handed.
