I thought Wakefield was Leeds territory? Odd video but original The whole of mainland Europe is Leeds territory, with one little exception, much like the Asterix cartoon, there is a small "island" that they don't overpopulate, that's Beeston.

Going off at a tangent slightly but can we expect stadium overlord Robinson to either be sacked or resign shortly, under his reign stewards have allowed an away fan to occupy the home area and in full view of the tv cameras. The health and safety implications alone are terrifying and of course it goes against stadium rules.

Jan Siewart wouldn’t necessarily have been my first choice, like many others I suspect, but he’s here now (and made a good first impression) so we’ll all get behind him and see where we go next. Unlikely as it is, he would become a legend in less than a quarter of a time it took David Wagner to become here if he kept us up. The King is dead, long live the King. UTT Know what you mean but it’s hard to come up with a preferred candidate. Karanka was joint fave in the betting at one point and while he took Boro up his record recently isn’t great. Siewert is a gamble, just as DW was, but would rather gamble on him than some of the other usual ‘names’ that were mentioned.

We had a German fan on the "next manager" thread and I've had a look, but can't find the particular post. Basically what he was saying was that the Klopps and Wagners are actually now behind in the drag curve of modern football techniques. It is young managers like Siewert (and others esp in Germany), who are taking it forward to the next level.

We are a progressive forward thinking club... We don't get everything right but on the whole you can't argue with what's been achieved in the last 3 years.. Dh has a plan.. He is ambitious and driven..proactive..not reactive. He knew Wagner would leave so set plans 2 years ago.. That is what sets us apart from the massive and l##ds. Our chairman has the balls to take a calculated risk on a young manager.. Example.. Weds have just appointed old cabbage head.. We go for siewert. I know who I prefer.. There is long term structure in his plan(Hudson and White head learning in the youth system).. Not reactionary panicked appointments. Those wanting a takeover should be careful what they wish for.. Dean hoyle is the beating heart of htafc.

Man City’s style wasn’t *much* different from Town. Apart from the goals, quality of players and multi million investment of course. 😂 But it was based on possession football and suffocating the life out of the opposition. Will be good to see how Jan approaches the game. Hopefully.

I thought Wakefield was Leeds territory? Odd video but original We actually have a large amount of season ticket holders with WF postcodes but that doesn't tell the whole story as some WF postcodes are within Kirklees. Most people that I know who are from Wakefield are Town fans.

A bit galling as well in the RWU when that sectioned off bit which houses the White Rose club is it, becomes over-populated with away fans. Having to watch and listen to them celebrating 3 goals, it's not right!

Having to watch and listen to them celebrating 3 goals, it's not right! Seen plenty of away fans in the home seats this season, including many openly wearing their teams' scarves. There was a Liverpool fan a couple of rows away from me loudly cheering their goal and signing Fields of Athenry. The stewards do nothing at all, they're more concerned with stopping home fans smoking or standing up.

See big Sam who ruled himself out is bemoaning on talk shite the lack of opportunity for British managers and coaches then says there’s only three British owners of premier league teams and refers to dean Hoyle as that guy at Huddersfield! You couldn’t write it. Maybe brush up on your tactics and do a bit more research and stop getting caught out fiddling with finances and you may get a job!

Maybe it's because British managers are in general shite. Howe and Southgate are decent and that's about it. Something yesterday about Southgate being linked with the Man U job. He did OK with the England team, in tournament football which is where we've generally been poor. However, not sure if a full on domestic season he would be that good. The roles are different & I'm working from memory here, but don't think his club career managerial-wise was all that great? But back to big Sam, he just says what he thinks people want to hear... As Nico says, if he hadn't been caught with his pants down he might have been able to influence exactly what he's moaning about...
