No, it definitely doesn't. It says he is spending his summer there and isn't sure what happens next season, but that he would definitely be returning home in 2020 at the end of his contract as he wants his family to be brought up in Germany. It does, however, read like family decisions are at the forefront of his mind. His wife maybe seeing as this as the ideal time to move home and possibly Town also seeing this as only chance to gain some money for one of my favourite players of the modern era. I was paraphrasing ... "Can't answer" whether he will leave etc.. "shortly there will be talks.. is relatively relaxed.. spending summer in place near Dresden. Will move back to live in Bavaria ..." reading between the lines and not having heard any other rumours I reckon he is offski

He’s definitely leaving, have it on good authority. It looks that way pal. Just stating that the newspaper interview does not say that he is. Any idea where he is off to? Really big loss to us is Löwe. Back to Germany 100%, but which club is not finalised. Looking more like 2. Bundesliga which surprises me. Thought he’d be able to get a move to a lower end team in the Bundesliga. Can’t see many 2. Bundesliga clubs having much money either so don’t think we’ll get a generous fee personally. You’ll know more about what kind of budgets they have though.

Those writing Campbell off. Why exactly? Would be a great bench/rotation option for us. He has had a good season at Hull where the fans really rate him. Plenty of other Championship sides looking at him as well. Good experience and mobile. People claiming he is shit really have got heads in clouds with regards to this. 12 goals as a striker in the Championship with Bowen and Grosiki at either side of you is hardly pulling up any trees is it?

Hull City scored 66 goals so they did okay.

Playing grant as a winger to accommodate another striker makes no sense at all to me . We have a full squad to overhaul and I don't think spending a ridiculous amount of our budget on a striker is the way to go . Put our faith in grant through the middle and back that up with a bit of experience. Ergo Campbell wouldn't be the worst signing in the world . Opinions eh ! Who said a winger remember Kachunga in our promotion team was not a winger but he scored 12 goals and linked up very well. You also may want to look at the 2 golden boot winners at Liverpool. No, you never mentioned wingers but siewert has on several occasions and therefore I stand by my point that I'd prefer to see grant through the middle rather than in a wider position . Yes I remember Kachunga scoring 12 and linking up well. Nearly exactly same return and influence as that Campbell lad at Hull 😉

Do you think we are looking for someone to play alongside or more for cover ? All i know is that its going to be a long summer. Just hope that our recruitment this window reflects our preferred style and system because it blatantly didn't last summer !

I know he’s available on a free but will be looking for good wages but at that age although he’s ‘experienced ‘ I’d prefer younger players, but I also accept we can’t have a team full of younger players. Glad it’s not my job to sort out a new squad!

Stuart Dallas from the Dirties anyone - looked their only good player in the playoff games and what a coup if we took him and he scored a winner at Bellend Road

The rest that you paraphrased was more to do that he would see out his contract if required. At least he’s a professional, unlike some of the others at the club. Now this poster and others seem to be fairly well informed, it’s quite apparent he’s off.

I rather think it will be a replacement for Grant, heard more than once he has not settled up north and wants to go back to London, and there is interest from West Ham

Stuart Dallas from the Dirties anyone - looked their only good player in the playoff games and what a coup if we took him and he scored a winner at Bellend Road I thought pretty much all their players looked good tbh bar the keeper. Ecstatic they managed to balls it up but they've looked the real deal most games this season. Played with the same intensity we did in our promotion season. Looked a far better team than Derby I thought, that's the beauty of football! Hopefully the manager will move on and they'll be back to being shit again next season!

If they keep hold of Biesla think they’ll be up next season. Their squad on paper is bang average but has them playing with passion, desire and intensity. Their transition game is spot on, fire loads forward and then get back in numbers. Hoping he has interest elsewhere.

They had about 6-7 who looked on it, but Cooper and Berradi were awful in addition to Casilla. Wasn’t impressed with Bamford either who spent most of the game throwing himself about. They badly missed Roofe’s hold up play and tenacity, but agree Derby looked ropey especially prior to their first goal. I was never confident of a defence containing Malone holding on to a lead .... 😁

one thing I noticed about Derby, especially their 4th goal, was the pace. We don't have that kind of pace both in thought or in action. It's one of the reasons we're going down this season. We're way too slow.
We need to bring in some pace.

Don't get me wrong, Derby do have a few quick players but the defending was terrible.

We're way too slow. We need to bring in some pace. We have more raw speed than Derby, they just look faster running against Ayling than Kyle Walker. Town certainly lack speed if thought though. Most of the quota is with Mooy 😄

Mo diame from toon on a free would be a good signing for us. Would give us some physicality in the middle of the Park. Wages may be high though

Certainly the style of striker we should be trying to add movement and decent on the deck.

From a punning point of view, he wouldn't be in the same league as Sobhi. From a footballing standpoint, he couldn't be any worse. Championship defences? Tehran new arsehole for them he would, I reckon.

Didn't see that one coming, christ he's only played a handful of games for us! Was looking forward to him and Mbenza on the wings. Just wondering if there could be crossed wires here. I'm sure it was reported Kongolo was on their radar, both ex Monaco - not that I'd like to lose either.
