Don't turn against players just based on rumours. Theres a HUGE likelihood that theyve not said anything and it's either their agents or just journalist tripe. Not turning but after the year we've had I'm not one to defend the majority of them either. Diakhaby was also the same player to come out and say he cant understand why he isn't playing and criticised Wagner so there is no smoke without fire. What he actually said when asked was he didn't know why he wasn't playing, however he wanted to fight for a place in the team. For some reason that last bit gets left out. I don't recall criticism of Wagner either... See how easy it was for you to create smoke without fire?

We could be needing 10+ players this summer with the amount of players looking to get out
The biggest and most important transfer window in our history? Get it wrong and we could easily be scrapping for survival next season

Not ours, but Luka Jovic, spoke of him on the Bundesliga thread. Watched this lad for the last few seasons and Real Madrid have just paid a snip at £42.5m. Scores for fun in Germany at a decent enough team. Give him the supply Real Madrid give and he is going to be unreal

Get Maddison and Clarke from Pompey and this team would be one of the most mobile and creative units in the Championship. Thats my view of course

Very good from their point of view. Absolute bargain in todays market however. This lad is unreal, movement and brain is on another level

In fact it seemed like he was avoiding getting involved. Might need a bit of time to come out of his shell first and loan move would be good for that

They have been in and around a Prem squad, why not? Let them shine with some players of quality to help, no better season tbh

Remember Mark Uth? We were pretty interested in him at one time and I remember Oggy interviewing a German Journo who basically said, "... and why would he want to move to Huddersfield, a team that very few people have ever heard of".
Well, he moved to Schalke last summer from Hoffenheim and has scored 2 goals in 20 appearances. We are now a known entity. Perhaps Wagner can sort this guy out, or perhaps the Schalke hierarchy will want to get rid. I remember some good YouTube compilation videos of the guy!

I think Diakhaby would stay if Mbenza, VLP, Bacuna and Kongolo do. Thick as thieves that lot
Mbenza and VLP already confirmed as staying.

According to German newspaper Bild Chris Löwe is close to complete a transfer to Dynamo Dresden. They also report he had already the medical check. Where would that leave the club on the left back position?

If Durm and Kongolo depart then it leaves us needing two left backs
Not too bothered about Lowe going. Did well in the Championship but always looks short on confidence to me and there's plenty of similar standard players available out there

But would show that the rebuild is going to be even bigger than i first thought.

Where would that leave the club on the left back position? To be fair we would have that young lad from Tottenham who is quite highly rated. Siewert has said more than once that he prefers youth and hungry players. I suspect he will be stepping up

Sorry. I meant as second choice or backup. Agree we need a first choice, but it wouldn't surprise me. And to be honest I think that the young ones have looked the business when we've seen them.

They’ve looked okay In little cameo roles huge difference asking them to play a full championship season, agree they should be used if good enough and can bulk out the squad but as I said to rely on them is a huge ask. There’s really no excuse not to go out and spend on bits of quality needed to make sure we’re competitive and help bring the youth through in a winning environment.

If they don't wanna be here fuck the lot of them off. Players like Diakhaby, Flo, Zanka etc who are piping up saying they dont want Championship football need to take a long hard look at themselves as we are in this mess because of their efforts (or lack of in most cases). Wankers. Doesn't surprise me Zanka wants to leave, he's played in the top divisions most of his career and is a full international, I fully expected he'd be off if we went down, just a shame he didn't carry on giving his all til the end but we don't know whats gone on I suppose. As for the other two you mention, both should consider themselves lucky to get a game in any championship team from what I've seen so far. Ironically though Zanka, even last season, used to be kept out of the national side by Andreas Bjelland who played for championship Brentford.

According to Google's English translation Dresden have someone called "Chris Lion on the fishing rod". Must be a different player 🦁

Just noticed they have a "Justin Löwe" on the books, 20yo.. Wonder if they're related, nothing on Wiki.
