Olie has lost the dressing room imo Town will do them with Jan waving his arms furiously on the touchline. Pogba will be walking about.

Serious question. Given their current predicament, which has some parallels with our own, what are folk expecting from us against ManU next Sunday?

Absolutely no reason why we can't beat man u and then do a job on Southampton on the last day.

I wouldn't bet on this team being able to beat one of the relegated championship teams let alone Man United. It will be another comfortable victory for any team that plays us. If they are hungry enough either team could score at least five.

If Man Utd can be bothered they’ll knock in 5/6 if they can’t it’ll be just 3,without reply. And exactly the same at Southampton

And exactly the same at Southampton Thought the responses would have been along these lines and marry with my own thoughts. Tbh, anticipating us not getting another win again this season, if we’d have been playing a less fashionable lower end Prem team, I may well have given the game a miss. It’s mainly the fact I may never see a Town team play ManU again in my lifetime that I’m going.

I bet fans of Utd's neighbours, Manchester city, will have more than half an eye on how many we can score on Sunday.
Fail to score, and we will be the owners of a record that most City fans thought would take some beating: their paltry 10 league goals at home in season 2006/7 under the guidance of the affable advocate of attacking football, Stuart Pearce MBE, is the lowest number of league goals ever at home for a team in the top-flight of English football, and surely a record that City fans thought they'd be lumbered with for all time.
So come on Town, 2 goals at least, please!

So come on Town, 2 goals at least, please! And we need 4 to beat our own record low of 12 home league goals (set in 1971/72). Another stat going into this game, we have never gone a whole season without scoring more than 1 goal in at least 1 home game. In fact the fewest times we have scored more than 1 at home in the league, is 3 times in both 1971/72 and last season (United 2-1, Brighton 2-0 and Bournemouth 4-1).

Barring an almost incredible 3 goals, I think we can write off our own record now. It's the one that Stuart Pearce and his Man City currently hold that is bothering me. The conspiracy theorists at my local pub are already saying that the British government may have played a part in this: The imperialists among the cabinet were not pleased at all about Stuart Pearce MBE holding the record for the lowest amount of goals, and directed the FA to make referees give us absolutely nothing at home. The idea being that 2 Germans will now have to suffer the ignominy of the new record, and not an Englishman designated as being a Member of the British Empire. As a German and a Huddersfield Town fan, I simply could not bear this. The whole of Germany will be watching live on TV, so no better time than Sunday to kick these allegations into touch, and spare Germany national embarrassment at the same time.

I've got a season ticket and have seen us score twice (in person) all season, against West Ham and Wolves.

This for me beats the draws at Chelsea and Man City, all i wanted from our debut season (survival aside) was to take the scalp of a big team. What a game this was.

£124.50 per goal.. Bargain 😁 Indeed. Hoping for better value next season! I bet you are. Tbf, even if you'd seen every minute of every home game this season, even at the bargain price of £249, it's not really been value for money. Fingers crossed we're entertained next season because it's the least the fans deserve.. The shit we've had to endure this season would make a glass eye water.

After his recent form it wouldn't surprise me if De Gea was taken out of the firing line on Sunday and told to stay in goal.

Can't find the post now but I've seen one today saying we're the only team in a major European league to have a worse record than PSG last month 😱
EDIT : found it
