What is the futue for this keeper now as Ryan Schofield appears to be the second choice ? You've not listened to JS. Schofield is the managers chosen 2nd keeper at this moment in time, nothing more, nothing less. |

You need 3 keepers & at the moment Coleman is 3rd choice. If Hamer returns from loan or we sign another keeper then that changes. If Schofield's form is poor or Coleman shows something in training then he regains his spot as 2nd choice.
Personally I think Coleman would do well to move on & get himself to a club where he has a realistic chance of getting 1st team football, but until that happens he's there to put pressure on Schofield.

His future is the same as any player who is at the moment 3rd choice of the manager at this time.
His to alter by his form or moving on, his to take advantage of any injury or loss of form to others?
You have to have 3 Keepers that in reality you would play in the first team if it came to it?🤦

Yes good point, I guess Coleman has slipped down the pecking order, from 2nd choice to 3rd. This selection pretty much confirms it I guess. Coleman was generally 2nd choice when at the club, seems Schofield has overtaken him. Hopefully its based on ability and not Jan's remit to bring through youth.

Massive error against Newcastle but on the whole he looked decent enough in the few games he played for us but his loan move to Shrewsbury was a bit of a disaster,he spent most of the season on the bench. Still only 23 so time for him to prove himself.

Credit to Schofield, rather than shame on Coleman.
Grabara looks like a class act.
