We're not in the relegation zone you thick c***. We are in the relegation zone, but we are not in the relegation places. English can be such a precise language if used correctly. Which it rarely is on here.

Not time to panic just yet, but lose the next 3 which is entirely conceivable, making it 0 from 15 points, and I shall be preparing for a week-end away next season at my daughters and cadging a lift with her hubby Adam who is head groundsman to watch us get rolled over at Forest Green Rovers!

Which it rarely is on here. Doesn't explain why we'll be out of the Championship next season when 4 teams are worse off than us and only 3 go down. Probably saw red a bit with my post but still, don't see why people who are supposedly Town fans have to revel in us losing. We're in trouble, I know we are but when I'm pissed off I don't want to see posts like this. Sorry if I went a bit far.

I agree with you about the ridiculous posts from some supposed SUPPORTers. The clue is in the name.

Paying more than £30 pound a game?
Playing an extra 3 home league games a season?
Playing the likes of Barnsley?
Beating teams we used to not be able to compete with?
Easily obtainable tickets?
A half empty away end?
I’ll miss all these then we win the league next year to get back into the top division.

A lad that I taught a short while back scored twice today for FGR. Farrend Rawson. Started at Derby County and made his league debut on loan for Fatty Evans's Rotherham... At Town... He scored... We lost... He was subsequently the reason that Rotherham were docked points, because Evans played him when there was some query over his registration. Pleasant Nottingham lad.

This isnt directed at the majority of town fans, but there are some who will surely be delighted at our plight, they hated the prem and all it stood for....you know hosting world famous teams, visiting iconic stadiums some fans only dream about visiting, playing in front of 50 60 70 thousand crowds, well are you happy and content, or would you rather be at the other end of the table, battling for a place in the play-offs that may see us into the evil premiership...fucking halfwits.

I am presuming that this post is aimed at people like myself? Well, contrary to what you might think, I am not delighted at our plight - quite the contrary; I am very concerned. I would be quite happy bumbling around in the middle section of the Championship. Yes, I was hugely disappointed by our time in the EPL, especially the complete crapjob we made of it last season which was an embarrassment from start to finish, but do you honestly think that I am happy that we are struggling and pretty much repeating the story of 1972/73 all over again? Really?

Really? in your own words, ‘i would be quite happy bumbling around in the middle section of the championship’, well at this moment in time so would many of us, but just to reiterate what i’ve said before i just cant understand that mentality,if i wasnt bothered if town won or not i certainly wouldnt waste my money, odd in the extreme but you’re entitled to your view!🤭

We might not be looking right good at the minute but we have to stick with them. If we start giving them grief each game before a balls kicked and they think they've lost the fans we are down. We are in a dog fight now and everyone needs to be bang up for it including the fans.

To many like that at the time thinking we would be a force in championship. Bought season tickets in the past in bottom two divisions but don't think I could bring myself to renew if we went down this season.

Not really our fault to begin with - we were pretty much caught out by being promoted when nobody really expected it. The transfers in during that first season, coupled with the existing squad, did just enough to keep our heads above water, but after that it was a complete shambles from top to bottom right through the club. I became fed-up with losing game after game after game with absolutely no prospect of picking up points. Everybody tried to remain positive but it was never going to happen and it just became intolerable. We were a mockery and held up to ridicule by the press, the pundits and fans of other clubs. The danger now is that it's happening again, with the football world laughing at our current in-fighting. The EPL killed us, just like it has other clubs before us. Bradford, Portsmouth, Forest, Leeds, Wendies, Coventry, Sunderland, Bolton, Oldham, to name but a few big clubs who have dropped out of the EPL and tumbled down - some as low as L2 - having pushed out the boat out financially to try to regain that status. Some of those are now on the cusp of going out of business. Yes, my bar is now set pretty low - I'd be very happy to win a few and lose a few, and bumble along steadily in the middle of the Championship, rather than mortgaging our future in an effort to get back to a scenario where we would be battered week in week out again. Controversial, I know, but as you said, I'm entitled to my view, as are you.

What a stupid thread, just to provoke a response - and it has worked. I would prefer, at this stage to swap places with Luton, Wigan, Barnsley, Stoke all of whom have less points and therefore far more likely to stay up!

Mate, DATM has become a very boring site in recent years. Putting a valid point of view out there isn't stupid. If being at odds with your outlook is stupid then I'll live with that.
