Evident from today's performance that they all think that.
I really hope a freak set of results send us down. I'm a huge town fan but have absolutely had enough of the last 3 seasons and the inability to make simple and effective decisions both on and off the pitch.
How we haven't been relegated already is beyond my comprehension. We are a shower of shite from top to bottom.
It's delaying the inevitable so I'm my view I would rather it come sooner than later and rip the band aid off now.
I feel for Carlos a bit but he is also abysmal in every departmet. I feel nothing for any of those players. Biggest spineless bunch I have ever seen in 34 years.

The fact we aren’t in the bottom 3 is astounding really. The teams below us must be beyond shite.

This is what happens when you sell your best players and replace them with cast offs, free transfers and kids who are not ready. It is inevitable that we will become worse. Unless some better players are signed for next season it will be a rerun of this season although it will probably be as a bottom three club from the first match.

If you think things are grim now, they would be grimmer times ten if we get relegated. I don't see a future where we would ever get back.

Before xmas we were decent. Cc seemed to have a coherent system and we were playing some decent stuff. It is this form will ultimately just save us this season. Something has gone seriously wrong since xmas, whether CC has lost the dressimg room, interference from Phil, poor transfers whatever in order for the club to go forward we need new ownership at the very lest a DOF with better contacts

You miss my point
We will get relegated next season anyway, it is inevitable. My point is that if it happens now it is probably better as makes the point more bleeding obvious that we need to change things.
If we go this season he has to address it right now.
If we went next season we are in for more if the same next year And it merely delayed the inevitable.
Phil will see staying up as a successful season and no town fan with half a brain would agree this season has been anything other than a complete disaster

After 23 games this season we were on 31 points, TWELVE points above the drop zone. Injuries or not, the effort since then has been an embarrassment.
The club is a ship without a rudder and we will be odds on to go down next season. God the 4 teams below us must be really bloody bad.

I know what Larry means here. I don't want Town to go down but those in charge seem to be utterly deluded as to the position the club is actually in.
At the moment relegation looks inevitable sooner or later but the current owner sits in his ivory tower believing things are OK. The former owner makes excuses for why it's everyone else's fault.
Someone needs to get real and change things, starting with the mindset and outlook.
I would say that I don't think relegation would actually change much. I think it needs an entirely different set of people but that isn't happening any time soon.

I have had many a disagreement with Larry but I totally see his point and I'm afraid wishing things better is naive in the extreme. We have 3 years of deplorable decline and how anyone can dismiss that as purely bad luck is quite incredible.

They seem to be content to plough on and think it's going to come good, where all evidence suggests that is optimistic in the extreme.

On what do you base your optimism? What is going to change? Is the signing of Holmes a sign of things to come? Please make a reasonable case for why you can confidently make such a prediction.

But Pete, the recruitment has to be right and better than it has been, or we will be down the bottom again. And the tactic and setup has to improve. Lots to do.
