Yesterdays win at Millwall gives us some hope again,it’s the hope that kills you..
Looking at the fixture of the likes of Cardiff and Rotherham , QPR jus above us, I believe 47/48 points can be enough to survive..
Can we pick up 11/12 points in remaining games..

I think we have a decent chance from this position. Yesterday was massive for us. Not just the result but what it'll do for confidence. Its a shame that just like after the Birmingham win, our next game is against the 'form' team in the division. Then it was burnley, now its Boro.
Reading getting docked 6 points puts them right in the mix and theyre on poor form already with 1 point from 5 games.
But QPR are the ones to catch. 2 wins in their last 22 games! Only 12 points from those 22 games ( even with our struggles weve got 21 points in our last 22 matches )
They dont seem to have had any new manager bounce after appointing Ainsworth.
6 points above us with same GD. They're very catchable.

Boro may be the form team but once their players see Carrick, head in hands, tears rolling gown his face as he thinks of what could have been if MF hadn’t pipped him to our top job, I’ve no doubt they’ll be a pushover.

Typical Town, get you in a position where you’ve given up all hope! All of a sudden I’m studying other team fixtures again and thinking we could just scrape over the line! Got to get it to those last 2 games and still have a chance, anything can happen from then,
International break comes at the perfect time for us regarding the Boro fixture, might just disrupt their momentum. Hopefully might see Knockaert again also.

Told my mate we would win yesterday, but that it would be our last win of the season.
Happy to wait and see.

I think 50 points will be needed this season. I think all teams in the mix, ( Rotherham and QPR included) are capable of having little runs and we'll need at least 4 more wins to be in the mix to stay up.

Middlesbrough are only 7th in the away form table.

Middlesbrough are only 7th in the away form table. Theyre this seasons Forest. In the bottom 3 or 4 in November fretting about relegation. They've won 8 of their last 11 away games. If we get anything against them it'll be a real bonus IMO.

Rotherham have a very horrible set of fixtures left! Not over by a long way this.

We have every chance of staying up...and imo will do after watching Saturdays game
We played a blinder...Kept it tight at the back and got them frustrated...then took our chance and it killed them
It was very much how we did things away from home last season and I was very impressed
The tide is turning and it doesn't matter who we play...we are capable of beating anyone if we can be as organised as Saturday
These lads look now they really want it and I think we will beat boro in 2 weeks time

If Helik continues too show the leadership he has in the last 2 games we'll have a chance.

We have a chance of staying up, we need every player to battle hard and play for the club like they did at Millwall. Certain games like Watford who struggle against teams near the bottom, Swansea when we play them might have nothing to play for are games we might snatch a win like at Millwall, teams like Middlesbrough, Blackburn will fear against a warnock team but anything can happen in this league.

If we do stay up - I think I’ll celebrate on The 9th of May by going skinny dipping in Lochindall....
Preferably at 3am as I certainly don’t have the most heavenly body (Huge Beer Belly) !
And preferably at low tide as it would mean a lesser damaging tsunami -
Oh me of little faith - thinking we’ll not have any chance until the very final day !!! 😉

Are we actually going to try and get something from the Middlesbrough game or has Warnock already written it off like he did the Burnley game?

Very interesting the Sheff United game. Too early to say if it’s in our favour.
We could be relegated and could be their promotion game. If so i’d sell em 15 thousand tickets at 50 quid each.

Need to hope Sheff U are up by then. Us beating middlesboro would help matters! Can see Rotherham v Cardiff being that week as well as there isn’t much room left in the schedule

Honestly if Warnock keeps us up, he deserves his bonus tax free. Would it rival or beat Jacko’s great escape? Would be some achievement for sure.

So that becomes our penultimate game, as it will be for the Blades. That gives us 11 days between the Sunderland and Cardiff games then. Could we see a fiver/tenner a ticket offer for these last 2 games if we’re still in the mix? We’ve some bloody tough games up to and including Sunderland. 🤞🤞 we’re still in the hunt…

I think it would go far beyond Jackson's great escape. Jacko had the benefit of being able to sign players and actually spent a fair bit of money, he came in around the end of September so had alot more time and games left.

Maybe it will go to the wire, who knows ? But at least 4 wins out of 8 sounds unlikely. However, I’ll no doubt be supporting the team in the Championship or League 1 and beyond.

Hoping again, which is good. Honestly thought we'd no chance until Saturday but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that the Hawkeye debacle could send us down, a year after VAR cheated us out of potential promotion to the PL. To be honest if we can get that close to staying up it will be an achievement in itself.

Can see Rotherham v Cardiff being that week as well as there isn’t much room left in the schedule The earliest date for Rotherham v Cardiff is 25/26th April which would be ideal for Town as we head to South Wales on the 29th, the two rearranged games involving teams in the cup this weekend are on the 25/26th & both picked for Sky Sports........so don't be surprised if Sky choose 2nd May for the Rotherham game now, with option for Town on the day after.

Imagine going down by one point, that would be hard to take and as you mention especially after the non VAR decisions in the playoff final.
