Three points would be very welcome indeed and should be achievable. Despite this unbeaten run we're still worryingly close to the bottom three! Ineeed.......set of bad results in the next games and we could be back in the relegation spots....... Injury hit Brummies, woeful Wendies & dire QPR.....Can't see us losing one, to lose all 3 would be Bismarck.

Not a lot of time for those both injured or knackered to recover before Tuesday and our problem, as everyone knows, is that we really have very little suitable cover or players we can rotate. Also, some of the cover we do have may not be fully match fit ( didn't the manager make this point on Saturday and made the 'reserves' train after the game to improve their match fitness?). Personally I'll be happy with a point and importantly no further injuries on Tuesday. Next Saturday is a must win for me as I've too many Wendy supporting friends and associates. You're saying you've got loads of Wednesday mates.... Do you live in Penistone? No, literally about as far as you can get from Pensitone ;o) And anyway Penistone's not alone in the area in having a 'massive' number of Wednesday supporters. Last time I was there there seemed to be as many Wendies in some Holmfirth pubs there were than Town fans.

During our promotion season there was a troll called PenistoneHudd - who pretended to be a town fan who just happened to have a load of mates who supported Massive Wednesday. Except it was fairly obvious that he was a Wednesday fan on the wind up. Strangely, he hasn't posted on here since that penalty miss from Forestieri. Probably still lording it over his "Wednesday mates".

Tonight against Brum and on Saturday v Wendies we need to be picking up some wins, 2 preferably. Draws do nothing and we're still languishing in the bottom third of the table just 2 points from the drop zone.
Unbeaten runs are fine but as we know with Elsie, they don't get you far. Brum and Wendies are on bad winless runs so this is a real opportunity to push us up the table before the international break. The last thing we need is to slip back into the drop zone and the knock that will give to the current mood under DM which has been positive. These two games won't define our season, but they're markers for me as to how the season is likely to progress.
So come on Town, let's pop some goals in, bring back the 6 points and enjoy an elevated league position for the 2 week break..

I know it's been 3 draws in a row, but last season, we would have lost all 3. Might not happen this week, so typical town to drop points in games we feel we should win. But the draws will become wins soon enough!

Might take a punt on ifollow, not used it this season yet. Has it been behaving for others? I know folk used to moan about it in previous season but I very rarely had issues. Then again I am on a different router where I'm living now.

We always seem to play Birmingham away on a night match!! They started the season well but injuries have hampered them a bit . A few players I rate for them including Stansfield up front and Bacuna… and Jutkiewicz always scores against us too.
Think we’ve a bit more grit since Moore came in though and hoping for another strong performance from the back 3 tonight.
Prediction is a town win , 2-0, with goals from Koroma and Pearson.

Diarra and Lees in for Yuta and Hogg tonight if they aren't fit.
Shuffle Ruffels out to where Yuta was. Diarra in with Rudoni and Wiles.
Only thing is Rudini would be moved back a little, and he has been immense in his actual position. Case for REG as a straight swap for Hogg.

Jutkiewicz has scored 2 in his last 8 games against us. It is just a myth. Last goal was the winner in 90th min in 2020/21. 5 games since that. So nailed on tonight now.....

Assume Yuta will be in the Hogg role, Jackson and Ruffels defensive wing backs with Lees, Helik and Pearson at CB? Any way you look at it, it’s extremely defensive. Don’t want another repeat of the first half against Coventry.

Radio Leeds have Pearson at wing back and Jackson in behind Burgzorg 😂

Nicholls Jackson Pearson Helik Lees Ruffels Wiles Nakayama Rudoni Thomas Burgzorg
Is how I see it, though I fear Jackson will be in CDM.
Don’t like it either way but I guess our hands are tied with injury and fitness issues.

It's a very odd lineup. Understand the Hogg chnage but the Koroma one seems strange. It won't matter if we get the 3 points. Assuming he wants us to sit deep then bring on offensive players from 70 minutes

5 CB's or 3 CB' and 3 LB's 🤔. Pearson, Lees and Ruffels with the pace and mobility of Peter Clarke

Can barely make head or tail of that. 2 most likely formations for me are:
Nicholls Pearson Helik Lees Jackson Nakayama Ruffels Wiles Rudoni Thomas Burgzorg
or.. Nicholls Pearson Helik Lees Ruffels Nakayama Thomas Wiles Rudoni Jackson Burgzorg

DM’s set himself up for pelters with that team if we lose. Would assume Yuta in midfield, not sure who’s meant to be supporting Burgzorg.
Would’ve preferred Diarra to start.

Pearson is a liability at right back, so hope it will be Jackson playing right wing back.
It would be interesting to see how Yuta gets on as a holding midfielder, could be a revelation, could be terrible but feels worth a try given the other options.
