Seemed clear to me, when asked by Oggy about his future employment, Andre stated that conversation would take place. after completion of the current season. The indication was, that he was was waiting for a pay off, that's how I took it to be, Andre didn't commit himself to be at Town next season (thank God). If he isn't going to be here next season, then he should go now. Let Worthy drop the couple of wankers, play the rest in their best positions, and lets have a bit of fun trying to get the 6 points. Who are the couple of wankers he picks? They can’t pass the chuffing ball whoever they are.

He's been used to working with mainly German and other Northern European players who are happy to put a proper shift in for their wage and vill also obey orders.
Must have been a shock for him when he turned up for afternoon training on the first day and found half the squad had legged it to the bookies/brothel/race track. And Edwards was still in the dining room on his third helping.

I would suggest that AB doesn't want to talk about next season because we haven't finished this season yet, and although we look doomed, there is still a (small) chance that we stay up and his focus should be on that.
We need Brum and Massive to fluff their lines elsewhere - but what if they do? What if both Brum and Ipswich aren't on it when they play us? Or what if the nerves get to Ipswich and they go to shit? What if we get a lucky bounce?
We ain't down yet and until our divisional status next year is confirmed one way or the other his focus is (quite rightly!) not going to be on next season.

Just a thought for those who want Breitenreiter gone. Who do you want to replace him?
Barnsley have just sacked their manager. They're a top end Lg1 side, just as we are (or at least hope to be!) next season.
Look at the managers in the frame to replace him. How many of those names are inspiring you? Only, I can guarantee that had we appointed pretty much any of them a couple of months ago, the response would have been mutiny.

Andre will be class in league one if he stays. There’ll definitely be some form of contingency for us going down. You don’t come to a club in our position with the squad we have and not make a plan in case we go down.
He’s been dealt a shit hand, just like every other manager this season. Yes it is a valid excuse. People talk about the miracle Warnock did last year, I’m sure we’d be better off with Hungbo this year too. Different dynamic different momentum.
Give him a summer and we’ll push for play-offs next year. Who has more experience than us? (don’t say Peterborough).

Fit players full of running and effort willing to run through walls for whoever the manager is.

Based on the fact they aren't experienced, full time professionals working in football, no they probably can't. I don't know what the answer is, don't know enough about league one and two. Id have taken Rowett this season so maybe him. I don't necessarily think AB isn't a great manager but he's shown next to nothing so far except that he can't motivate these players, doesn't really know the league and how to get results in it. Plus he might not want to manage in the third tier with his CV.

Paying a Bundesliga manager in The Championship was pretty decadent, and we're about to lose a third of our revenue...

Again would rather get Nigel Pearson if we are looking at a been there done it all type in these divisions.

I now expect Andre to be here next season whatever happens in the next two weeks, I heard a plan for both scenarios was disucussed at the time and the owner is willing to back the manager no matter what league we are in next season.
What needs to happen in either league IMHO - A full correct pre season to get the players fit enough to play the style wanted (high press) - Many departures, players with the wrong attitudes to leave (I am told many dont like the harder training and really wont like it in the summer) if they dont want to work hard in training the probably dont want to on the pitch. - New arrivals to fit how we want to play expect a couple of German / European players to come in and hopefully the attitude spreads to others. - A style of play that we stick to that includes actually trying to attack teams. - Some sales of players (if in L1) not becuase we have to but because some dont want to paly in L1, dont expect them to leave for cheap though (Helik, Sorba, Nicholls, Rudoni, Baulker) - A full rebuild and different attitude on and off the pitch.
