I now expect Andre to be here next season whatever happens in the next two weeks, I heard a plan for both scenarios was disucussed at the time and the owner is willing to back the manager no matter what league we are in next season. What needs to happen in either league IMHO - A full correct pre season to get the players fit enough to play the style wanted (high press) - Many departures, players with the wrong attitudes to leave (I am told many dont like the harder training and really wont like it in the summer) if they dont want to work hard in training the probably dont want to on the pitch. - New arrivals to fit how we want to play expect a couple of German / European players to come in and hopefully the attitude spreads to others. - A style of play that we stick to that includes actually trying to attack teams. - Some sales of players (if in L1) not becuase we have to but because some dont want to paly in L1, dont expect them to leave for cheap though (Helik, Sorba, Nicholls, Rudoni, Baulker) - A full rebuild and different attitude on and off the pitch. That means Breiteneiter will be leaving then, based on the success rate of your previous predictions.

Although he won League One with Hull, having seen a Grant McCann Championship side il pass thanks, no longevity to that project at all. Again would rather get Nigel Pearson if we are looking at a been there done it all type in these divisions. Hull were mid table championship when the owners decided to replace him for whatever reason..and he,s now having success again with donny What's he won?

Fair play to him for doing a good job at Donny, but maybe like Darren Moore that’s his level.

Yeah attracting players from Europe to come play in league one should be fun, never mind the fact they’ll find it near impossible to get work permits I imagine. More rubbish as usual.

Surely no one wants Nigel Pearson? He’s a complete head case, the players would be terrified of him (which is one positive I suppose)

Would anyone still want andre to continue if we got another 3/4 goal spineless drubbing against brum on Saturday?? Nope, Tony Mowbray/Nigel Pearson for me. They will make sure we are set up to go straight back up with players who give a shit and want to be here. Mowbray is going to leave his sick bed in Birmingham to come and manage us? Pearson? By some distance the best option available if we lose AB. But: * If we don't get him, have you seen the state of the other options? * Given the absolute state of this squad, the consistent failure under manager after manager, the lack of joined up thinking and all round chaos surrounding the club this season, are we still convinced that the guy with the superb CV is the problem? * If Pearson fails (and his CV isn't uniformly successful), then what? Change again? How many managers/head coaches are we going to go through? How well has the constant chopping and changing every few months served us?

He won the league one title with Hull city I got absolutely hammered with Grant McCann's uncle in a proper rough royalist pub in Belfast a few years ago whilst watching Town get fingered by Sheff Wednesday on the telly. Anyway, carry on...

Surely no one wants Nigel Pearson? He’s a complete head case, the players would be terrified of him (which is one positive I suppose) The frightening part is that if AB leaves, Pearson isn't just the best option available, he's head and shoulders above the rest. Have a look at the managers being linked with the vacant Barnsley job. If (when!) we go down, that's the market we're going to be operating in. Luke Garrard? Mark Bonner? Yeah, I had to look them up too (and I was underwhelmed when I did).

It often seems to be rookie managers who do well in league one. Wigan seemed to be good at getting relegated then coming back as champions then getting relegated again.
What's worrying is the size of the gap, most teams really struggle in their first season back, except for Ipswich who weren't even champions.
The DoF is perhaps as important these days if he gets responsibility for player trading.

Your posts have been fine since but please don’t go back to pretending you know things as it’s extremely sad and pathetic. At Donny, what's the success he's had this season? He's currently won 9 games in a row and rovers will almost certainly be in the playoffs this season He was poor at Hull but probably still learning. You never find managers without failure on their CV and plenty go from the next best thing to unemployable in a matter of months. I don't know anything about McCann but if he's having success in the league below he'd be worth considering. Having said that I still detest him from the play off season when he was very good for Peterborough, think he scored a free kick at old Trafford iirc. It's an irrational hatred though, I could probably get over it.

I disagree, ive seen every game under AB (apart from Cardiff away) and whist this is a poor squad I believe they were/are capable of staying up. How many games have we been in the lead and thrown it away, poor tactics and a poor Coach. The final straw to me was the Swansea game. I fully understand that Ward, Radulovic and Healy are not 100% fit but not to start any of them in such a important game, if only to play for 30 mins each was shocking.

Oreyt .. That’s enough o that German shite.. Tha wants to talk proper like what I does.. 🍻🍻 There's rapper German, too, Drum. But just to make it slightly relevant to the thread title, this was one of AB's favourite songs when he was at Schalke 04: Alles wird gut = everything's gonna be ok. Time to move away from "Alles wird gut", now is the time to awaken the demonic Terrier in André Breitenreiter: Give this a listen, André! Put me right in the mood for tomorrow has this! Sorry Drum, but we've got to find ways of inspiring him..

He told it like it is.. Might as well, given the 'lads' seem to frame or not for whatever reasons.
Lets see if there are any bollocks left in the squad.
Going to have to match work rates and definitely not get over involved in any stupidity.
I have no idea as to wether we will fail badly on one or both counts.
Deep breath, heads up and face it.
